With gratitude

 Today, my last day as Facilitator Transfer in the Global Support Team (GST), I am reflecting on the wonderful people that make up our Constellation family. And to me, that’s exactly what it is – a family. Made up of brilliant and courageous people. It seems that when we come together in the Constellation, the best is brought out in us. the (around 25) colleagues sat together: 3 little workshops of 2 hours, one every week;

First session: SALT is introduced, as well as CLCP... Different vocabulary…

Checking on progress in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea

In this YouTube video, Gaston discusses how the young people in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea, keep their finger on the pulse of what is happening in their community. If you want numbers, they won't have them. But they do have a sense of the progress that the community is making and they are able to take action when they see a problem.

The importance of feeling important!

Some years ago, I worked for the National AIDS Council (NAC) on a project funded by the World Bank. It was a well-funded project and we set up youth centres in 129 districts. We gave money to Youth Associations for training and sensitisation. And I was one of…

Better results for less money!

The expectation of the public that I am interacting with depends on my identity. And if the first thing that I do when I…
