Finding Strength in Brinty Apu's Journey.

   আমার সল্ট অনুশীলনের ২য় ব্যক্তি বৃন্তি সাহা আপু। আলোকিত করি সংগঠনের এক উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র। যার সাথে সল্ট করে আমি অনেক বেশি অনুপ্রাণিত। প্রথমে আমি ধন্যবাদ জানাই GFC এর Rituu কে। কমিউনিটিতেই শুধু নয় নিজেদের মধ্যে সল্ট সেশনের সুব্যবস্থা করে দেয়ার জন্য। প্রতিটা সল্ট ফেসিলেটেটরের কাছ থেকে আমি সুন্দর সুন্দর গল্পের আসরে নিজেকে বিলিয়ে দিতে পারছি আর প্রতিনিয়ত অনুপ্রাণিত হচ্ছি। বৃন্তি আপুর গল্প আমার হৃদয়ে আলোড়ন তুলেছিল। কারণ আমার ছোটবেলার জীবনের গল্পের সাথে বৃন্তি আপুর গল্পের খানিকটা মিল পাচ্ছিলাম। তাই তার গল্প আমার মনের ভেতর প্রচণ্ড রকমের অনুরণনের সৃষ্টি করেছিলো। এবং আমি উপলব্ধি করতে পেরেছি যে জীবন সংগ্রামে থেমে থাকলে কখনোই সামনের দিকে অগ্রসর হওয়া যায় না। জীবনে চলার পথে চ্যালেঞ্জ বা প্রতিবন্ধকতা থাকবেই তবে সেগুলোকে বোঝা হিসেবে নয় বরং সাহস এবং শক্তি নিয়ে, সঙ্গী করে পথ চলতে হবে সামনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য। ঠিক যেভাবে বৃন্তি আপু করেছিলো। যদিও বোঝাটা বইতে খুবই কষ্টকর এটা যে করতে পারবে তার সফলতা ততটা আলোকিত হয়ে ধরা দেবে। প্রাচীন কাল থেকেই মেয়েরা বৈষম্যের শিকার। এই শৃংঙ্খল ভেঙ্গে বেরিয়ে আসাটা খুবই চ্যালেঞ্জিং। পারিবারিক সমর্থন থাকায় আপু এটাকে অতিক্রম করতে পেরেছে। তার জন্য আসলেই আমি খুব গর্বিত এবং আনন্দিত। মায়ের আত্মত্যাগ ও বৃন্তি আপুর অদম্য ইচ্ছা শক্তির কাছে হার মেনেছে কলুষিত সমাজ।
   এই ব্লগটি লিখেছি যাতে আমি বারবার পড়তে পারি আর বৃন্তি আপুর ধৈর্য, কঠোর পরিশ্রম, একাগ্রতা ও পুরুষতান্ত্রিক সমাজের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়ানোর সাহস থেকে আমি শক্তি নিতে পারি। আপুর কাছে আমি কৃতজ্ঞ তার গল্প আমাকে শুনানোর জন্য।

   Brinty Saha Apu, my second partner in practicing SALT, is a radiant star of the organization "Alokito Kori." Through SALT sessions with her, I have been deeply inspired. First, I want to thank Rituu from GFC for not only facilitating SALT sessions within the community but also for making arrangements for us to engage in these sessions with each other. Through each SALT facilitator, I’ve found myself immersed in a circle of beautiful stories, feeling motivated with each one.
   Brinty Apu’s story resonated profoundly in my heart, as it mirrored parts of my own childhood experiences. Her story created a strong sense of resonance within me. I have realized that one cannot move forward in life if one remains stagnant in the face of life’s struggles. Challenges and obstacles are inevitable on life’s path; however, we must not see them as burdens. Rather, like Brinty Apu, we must carry them as companions, moving forward with courage and strength. Carrying this burden can be difficult, but for those who can do it, success will shine that much brighter.
   From ancient times, women have faced discrimination. Breaking out of these chains is very challenging. With the support of her family, Brinty Apu was able to overcome these challenges. For that, I am truly proud and delighted. Brinty Apu’s mother's sacrifices and her own unwavering determination have defeated a corrupt society.

   I wrote this blog so I can come back to it again and again, drawing strength from her patience, hard work, dedication, and courage to stand against a patriarchal society. I am grateful to her for sharing her story with me.
