Stories about Response (2,408)

SALT, the expert and the facilitator

In the Constellation, we make a distinction between the expert and the facilitator. When we are an expert, we recognise our own authority to diagnose the problem and to give a solution. When we listen and reflect, we become part of a conversation where we can support and appreciate without judgement.

In the Constellation, we do not diagnose and we do not provide a solution. We believe in the capacity of others to find their own solution to their own problem. (And therefore we must…

Demain (Tomorrow)!! A positive movie on the climate change

I have had recently the chance to watch an interesting movie showing how some people and some communities are responding positively to the current global challenges. It shows how people together can face issues related agriculture, education, energy, waste management, finance and democracy, through local community responses. This a refreshing and positive perspective on the global challenges. And definitively, our SALTy way of working is greatly in line with all what is said in that movie.…

A deeper level of humanity - my introduction to SALT & CLCP (English version)

A deeper level of humanity - getting to know SALT and CLCP

“Everywhere you look, you see remarkable individuals and communities that have managed to break through the walls of trauma and tyranny in order to connect to their deep sources of humanity. What are the conditions that make these breakthroughs possible and allow “miracles” to happen time and again?” (Scharmer & Kaufer in…

Following the programme developed with La Mutuelle des Pays de Redon, France, Hervé, Loli and Luc are continuing to learn and share experiences with the members of the local committee for Health promotion. We are always amazed as we discover every time new strengths in the group. On 27th of November, we heard a wonderful story where a group of health workers played a critical role, applying SALT principles…

What if we connect as human beings?

Team of five- a husband-wife duo, two brothers, engineer, dietician, doctor, footballer, MBA, from two different states, stationed in front of the computer screen and conversation on skype! I knew the couple but others I  met for the first time on skype and I dared to ask a very philosophical question 'what makes us human'.

The answers were - we are human because we…

I was attending the session on Raising Refugee Women’s Voices facilitated by Fiona Ballantyne in which shared how her organization has tackled key issues around asylum and international protection, and the extent to which ‘institutions’ have responded to the insights and aspirations of refugee and asylum seeking women.

"..and the domino game get hot....."

As part of its scaling out SALT to as much communities outside of Le Pont du Tamarinier engaged members of Cheshire Home. A group of differently-abled persons took to be very engaging and agreed to meet every Monday for SALT. Their dream was to live comfortably in their Cheshire Home where they can pursue individual dreams. One wa to achieve their dream was to have specific time for games and as a starter decided on a domino competition. The idea of the competition started with Michel who…
