Hi to my LIfe Competence Family
I am pursuing a Social Work Programme and we were given a few assignments so I used SALT to get the assignments done. It was observed that the students who were strong were pushing ahead, so there was need to find a way to get all involved. We rearranged our position as a team and first listened to everyone's ideas and highlight our strengths. The assignment was based on Egypt's ways of communication and culture - everyone were not good at speaking but…

Koppal, a small town in northern Karnataka. Sue, from Zimbabwe, Olinda, from Mozambique, Padma from Hyderabad in India and me from Belgium are entering a small house that is indistinguishable from other houses in the alley. Divya and Murari from Samraksha are coming with us. About twenty women welcome us.They took a four hours’ drive from the neighboring district of Raichur to meet us at Koppal. We gather in a small room: barely one…

As I wake up in Dimapur, Nagaland, after the best two days of rejuvenating CLCP that we had in the nearby Maova group of villages, it is time for a quick reflection on what we soaked in before other waves of incidents wash away impressions of the last two days from the shores of our minds.…
