In the village of Keudha Adivasi Para, where about 90 families and 350 to 400 people live, a social enterprise was launched in October 2024. The project began with a survey and interviews with villagers, where they revealed many problems that they were unaware of. Inspired by the dissemination of the baseline report, the youth decided to share their findings through a drama in the village.
After their efforts, the villagers were inspired to take action. They noticed that during the rainy season, the 200-meter cast-iron road entering the village would become muddy, making transportation difficult, and people could fall off their bicycles if there was mud on the road. A group of young boys took the initiative to clean the road and the surrounding area. They realized that since it was their village, they should take responsibility for keeping it clean.
The youth attributed the baseline report to their inspiration, which encouraged them to think about the problems facing their community. By working together, they worked towards solving these problems and improving their village. The salt method not only strengthened their bond but also inspired them to actively engage in community issues.
