The story of Hena Aunty was in the context of the Great Liberation War of 1971. Aunty was around 10 to 12 years old during the war. The war of liberation had started in the country and there was a panic among the people first in the cities and then in the villages. Pakistani forces launched a surprise attack on the sleeping Bengalis in the late night of March 25, 1971. Bengali accepts a brutal death. Within a few days their brutality spread from village to village. Burned down numerous villages. Hena Aunty shared with us the events of the war. The communication system in their village was not so good and it was not possible for the Pakistani army to enter there easily but the Razakars of this country showed them the way. For some time, the invading forces ransacked their village and to escape from them, Hena aunty fled to another village holding the hands of her father and elder brothers. But they couldn't be safe even there, they went to Noapara Bridge and took shelter, then they saw bullets raining from the sky, while the sound of gunfire was deafening. Pointing his hand towards the sky, he showed his father and brother the fighter plane, then the father and brother told him to point their fingers upwards and then they will kill us too. Then they held their ears with both hands and covered their heads and went somewhere else. In this way, they spent a long time without food, water or bath. After receiving the news, he returned to his home in the village. Suddenly the military came to Hena aunt's house. Chachi ran and cut the ropes of 4 cows and released them. Her father kept calling from behind but the aunt did not heed as the rope was cut and the cows ran into the fields, the military came and searched their house and left unharmed. After leaving, her father asked her why she cut the rope of their 4 cows, aunt said, father, I heard that they took the cows and goats and slaughtered it and ate it, so I left it so that they could not catch it. His father was surprised to hear such words from his daughter's mouth. And thanks to this trick of his daughter, four of his cows were saved. Pakistani raiders entered their village by boat and set fire to various houses at various times. Most of the Hindu community of Chachi's village then left for India by boat with banana rafts and many became refugees in India. Aunty's father was an honest and brave man. An uncle from the village next to him went to Kolkata with money for their jewelry to Aunty's father and said, "Brother, if you are alive, sell this jewelry and live with your children. I have no claim on it." Going to Kolkata. Aunt's father filled the wealth in a container and left it underground. After the war, when the country became independent, when the refugee uncle returned to the country, Hena aunt's father returned his wealth to him again. Hena aunt saw this great work of her father with her own eyes. Aunt was proud of her father. Also, Hena aumt first went to Majra polling station and voted for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by walking several kilometers away. She was proud of the fact that she saw the joy of freedom with her own eyes after making various sacrifices during the war. Also, Chachi is proud of the fact that after winning the victory on December 16, 1971, the Bengalis did not hesitate to avenge the death of the Pakistani soldiers who were imprisoned in Bangladesh in Bhatiapara and killed them by dragging them from the ground. Chachi proudly told us one more thing that Mujib said. We have blood, we will give blood. And Jai Bangla slogans from all sides are still echoing in Chachi's ears. We are very inspired by talking to Hena Aunty. And we got to know all this information unknown to us. Among the qualities we have admired in Hena Chachi are courage, patience, prudence, intelligence, endurance of suffering patriotism, etc. Hena chachi was inspired by talking to us and started telling another story that Chachi is very proud of her sons and daughters. Chachi has four sons and daughters and has been able to teach all four of them diligently by herself. If they didn't want to, she made them fall into the field with a spade, then they chose the reading table after understanding the hardships of the field and three boys and girls completed their graduation. And the little boy is currently studying in higher secondary. Which is one of the things that Hena aunt is currently proud of. And which we have been able to understand through her speaking style, facial expression, eye language etc. Hena aunty wants to live together with everyone in the village, but many of her neighbors don't want it. At various times, she is worried about this. However, sometimes she tells the neighbors about the short-lived life of the world and inspires them to live together. After a long time i.e. 52 years, Chachi is very happy to share her story with us and relive that day once again. She was able to reduce the chest pain a little. From Chachi we learned about how to deal with difficult situations and also got to know many unknown facts of war. All in all, I was impressed to see this story beautifully told by Hena aunty. Shee shared his story with us with great sincerity and love for us without any hesitation in making the said salt conversation. We are really proud of her.

হেনা আন্টির গল্পটা ছিল ১৯৭১ সালের মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ঘটনার প্রেক্ষিতে। যুদ্ধ চলাকালীন সময় আন্টির বয়স ছিল আনুমানিক ১০ থেকে ১২ বছরের মত। দেশে শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছিল মুক্তিযুদ্ধ প্রথমে শহর এবং পরে গ্রামের মানুষের মধ্যে তৈরি হয়েছিল এক আতঙ্ক। পাকিস্তানি বাহিনীরা ঘুমন্ত বাঙ্গালীদের উপর অতর্কিতভাবে আক্রমণ চালায় ১৯৭১ সালের ২৫ শে মার্চ গভীর রাতে। ঘুমন্ত বাঙালি বরণ করে নেয় নির্মম মৃত্যুকে। কয়েকদিনের মধ্যে তাদের নির্মমতা বর্বরতা গ্রাম থেকে গ্রামান্তরে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। জ্বালিয়ে পুড়িয়ে শেষ করে দেয় অসংখ্য গ্রামকে। হেনা আন্টি যুদ্ধের সময়ের ঘটনা আমাদের সাথে শেয়ার করেন। তাদের গ্রামটায় যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা তেমন ভালো ছিল না পাকিস্তানিদের সহজেই সেখানে ঢোকা সম্ভব ছিল না কিন্তু এদেশের রাজাকাররা তাদেরকে পথ চিনিয়ে দেয়। বেশ কিছুদিন হানাদার বাহিনী তাদের গ্রামে তাণ্ডব চালায় তাদের হাত থেকে বাঁচার জন্য হেনা আন্টি তার বাবা বড় ভাইদের হাত ধরে অন্য গ্রামে পালিয়ে বেড়ায়। কিন্তু সেখানেও নিরাপদে থাকতে পারে না নোয়াপাড়া ব্রিজের উপর গিয়ে তারা আশ্রয় দেয় তখন সেখানে দেখে আকাশ থেকে গুলি বর্ষণ করছে এদিকে গুলির শব্দ ওদিকে গুলির শব্দ কান ঝালাপালা হয়ে যাচ্ছে। আকাশের দিকে হাত দিয়ে তার বাবা ও ভাইকে যুদ্ধবিমান দেখান তখন বাবা ভাই তাকে বলেন উপরের দিকে আঙ্গুল তুলনা ওরা তাহলে আমাদেরকেও মেরে ফেলবে। তখন দুই হাত দিয়ে কান চেপে সেখান থেকে গা ঢাকা দিয়ে অন্য কোথাও চলে যান এভাবে তাদের দীর্ঘদিন কেটে যায় পেটে খাবার নেই পানি নেই গোসল নেই। খবর নিয়ে আবার গ্রামে নিজ বাড়িতে ফিরে আসেন। হঠাৎ হেনা চাচীর বাড়িতেই মিলিটারি আসে। চাচি দৌড়ে গিয়ে তাদের গাভী ৪ টির দড়ি কেটে ছেড়ে দেন। পিছন থেকে তার বাবা ডাকতে থাকেন কিন্তু চাচী কর্ণপাত করেন না রশি কেটে দেওয়ায় গাভী চারটি মাঠে চলে যায় মিলিটারিরা এসে তাদের বাড়িতল্লাশি করেন এবং তেমন কোন ক্ষতি না করে চলে যান। চলে যাওয়ার পরে তার বাবা তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করে কেন গরুর রশি কেটে দিল সে তখন চাচী বলেন বাবা আমি শুনেছি ওরা নাকি গরু নিয়ে জবাই করে খেয়ে ফেলে তাই আমি ছেড়ে দিয়েছি যাতে ওরা ধরতে না পারে। মেয়ের মুখে এমন কথা শুনে তার বাবা অবাক হলেন। এবং তার মেয়ের এই কৌশলের জন্য তার গরু চারটি রক্ষা পেল। তাদের গ্রামে পাকিস্তানি হানাদাররা নৌকায় করে প্রবেশ করেছিল এবং বিভিন্ন সময় বিভিন্ন বাড়িতে আগুন লাগিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দিয়েছিল। চাচির গ্রামের অধিকাংশ হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষ তখন নৌকায় করে কলার ভেলায় করে ভারতের দিকে রওনা করেছিল এবং অনেকেই ভারতের শরণার্থী হয়েছিল। আন্টির বাবা ছিলেন সৎ এবং সাহসি মানুষ তার পাশের গ্রামের এক চাচা তাদের গয়নাগাটি টাকা পয়সা আন্টির বাবার কাছে কলকাতায় চলে গিয়েছিল এবং বলেছিল ভাই তুমি যদি বেঁচে থাকো তাহলে এই গয়নাগাটি তুমি ব্যবহার করো বিক্রি করে ছেলেমেয়েদের নিয়ে বেঁচে থেকো এর প্রতি আর আমার কোন দাবি রইল না আমি কলকাতায় চলে যাচ্ছি। আন্টির বাবা সেই সম্পদ পাত্রে ভরে মাটির নিচে রেখে দেন যুদ্ধ শেষে দেশ স্বাধীন হলে শরণার্থী চাচা যখন আবার দেশে ফিরে আসে তখন হেনা আন্টির বাবা তার সম্পদ তাকে আবার ফেরত দিয়ে দেন নিজ চোখে বাবার এই মহৎ কাজ দেখে চাচি তার বাবাকে নিয়ে গর্বিত। এছাড়াও হেনা চাচী সর্বপ্রথম মাজরা ভোটকেন্দ্রে গিয়ে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান কে ভোট দেন পায়ে হেঁটে বেশ কয়েক কিলোমিটার দূরে গিয়ে। যুদ্ধের সময় বিভিন্ন ত্যাগ তিতিক্ষার পরে আন্টি নিজ চোখে যে স্বাধীনতার আনন্দটা পেয়েছে সেই বিষয়টা নিয়ে তিনি গর্বিত। এছাড়াও ১৯৭১ সালের ১৬ই ডিসেম্বর বিজয় অর্জন করার পরে ভাটিয়াপাড়ায় পাকিস্তানি সেনাদেরকে বাংলাদেশে বন্দী করে বাঙালিরা মৃত্যুর প্রতিশোধ নিতে কুন্ঠা বোধ করেন নাই মাটির নিচ থেকে টেনে গুলি করে তাদেরকে হত্যা করেছেন এটা নিয়েও চাচির গর্ব হয়।চাচি গর্ব করে আরও একটি কথা আমাদেরকে বলেছেন সেটা হলো মুজিব বলেছিল আমাদের রক্ত আছে আমরা রক্ত দেব। আর চার দিকে জয় বাংলা স্লোগান চাচির কানে আজও নাকি ভেসে আসে। চাচীর সাথে কথা বলে আমরা খুবই অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছি। এবং আমাদের অজানা এ সকল তথ্য জানতে পেরেছি। চাচিকে আমরা প্রশংসা করেছি তার মধ্যে আমরা যে সকল গুণাবলী লক্ষ্য করেছি, সাহসিকতা, ধৈর্যশীলতা, বিচক্ষণতা, বুদ্ধিমত্তা, কষ্ট সহ্য করার চেষ্টা, দেশ প্রেম ইত্যাদি। চাচি আমাদের সাথে কথা বলে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছেন এবং অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে আরো একটা গল্প বলতে শুরু করেছেন সেটা হল চাচি তার ছেলে মেয়েদের নিয়ে খুব গর্বিত।চাচির চারজন ছেলে-মেয়ে এবং চারজনকেই নিজে কঠোর হয়ে লেখাপড়া শেখাতে পেরেছেন লেখাপড়া শেখানোর জন্য তিনি কৌশল ব্যবহার করেছেন কখনো তারা লেখাপড়া করতে না চাইলে তিনি তাদেরকে কাচি কোদাল দিয়ে মাঠে নামিয়ে দিয়েছেন তখন তারা মাঠের কষ্ট বুঝতে পেরে পড়ার টেবিলকে বেছে নিয়েছেন এবং তিনজন ছেলে মেয়ে গ্রাজুয়েশন কমপ্লিট করেছেন। এবং ছোট ছেলেটা বর্তমানে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিকে লেখাপড়া করছেন।যেটা চাচীর বর্তমানে গর্বিত হওয়ার একটি অন্যতম বিষয়। আর যেটা আমরা চাচির কথা বলার ধরন, মুখচ্ছবি, চোখের ভাষা ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে অনুধাবন করতে পেরেছি। চাচি গ্রামের সবাইকে নিয়ে একসাথে মিলেমিশে থাকতে চান কিন্তু চাচির প্রতিবেশী অনেকেই এটা চান বিভিন্ন সময় নানা ধরনের ঝগড়াঝাটি করেন এই বিষয়টা নিয়ে চাচি চিন্তিত।তবে মাঝে মাঝেই তিনি বিভিন্ন ভাবে প্রতিবেশীকে দুনিয়ার স্বল্প স্থায়ী জীবনযাপন সম্পর্কে বলেন এবং মিলেমিশে থাকতে অনুপ্রাণিত করেন। দীর্ঘদিন অর্থাৎ ৫২ বছর পরে চাচি তার এই গল্পটা আমাদের সাথে শেয়ার করতে পেরে খুবই আনন্দিত হয়েছেন এবং সেই দিনটার কথা তার আর ও একবার স্মৃতিতে ধারণ করতে পেরেছেন। বুকের জমানো বেদনাটা একটু হলেও লাঘব করতে পেরেছেন। চাচির কাছ থেকে আমরা কঠিন পরিস্থিতি কিভাবে মোকাবেলা করতে হয় সেই বিষয়ে শিখতে পেরেছি এছাড়াও যুদ্ধের নানান অজানা তথ্য জানতে পেরেছি। সর্বোপরি চাচীরএই গল্পটা সুন্দর করে বলা দেখে মুগ্ধ হয়েছি। উক্ত সল্ট কনভারসেশনটি করতে গিয়ে আমরা কোন বাধার সম্মুখীন হইনি খুবই আন্তরিকতার সাথে এবং আমাদেরকে ভালবেসে তার গল্পটা বিনা দ্বিধায় আমাদেরকে শেয়ার করেছেন। সত্যি চাচীকে নিয়ে আমরা অনেক গর্বিত।
