The feeling of helping in life is different.

Baidyanath Tudu, a young man from the indigenous Santali tribe, said, "One day, a woman in our village went to cut grass and was bitten by a snake. After the woman somehow returned home, her family called me to take her to the hospital. Without delay, I took her to the hospital on my bike. The doctor there said that if he had delayed a little, she could not have been saved. I feel that I have been able to save a person's life." This conversation took place during SALT. Conclusion:- Baidyanath's…See More

One day, we had a group SALT discussion with the youth boys of the Santal community in Govindapala village. There were 23 people present in the discussion meeting. We asked everyone to share their life stories with each other. After the SALT discussion, we asked everyone present.

I had a conversation with Sumanta Soren, a Santal community member from Govindapala village, through Salt. He shared a beautiful story with me – one day he went to Burdwan for a special work. After finishing his work, when he was returning home by train, he saw a beggar asking for alms from everyone and no one was giving him anything, seeing him made him very sad. That day, he did not eat anything and kept some money for himself for food, but seeing the condition of a beggar, he felt very…

I am Dhiraj from Rural Aid when he shared his story with me. When he was 14 years old, his uncle had asked him to adopt a girl child in the hospital, because there was no girl child in their family. But at that time, his uncle died in a car accident, then the nurse from the hospital called that there was a girl child, then they brought the girl, then Dhiraj bhai took care of the girl like a parent morning or night and raised her like his own daughter. Now the girl has grown up a lot and is…
