One day, we had a group SALT discussion with the youth boys of the Santal community in Govindapala village. There were 23 people present in the discussion meeting. We asked everyone to share their life stories with each other. After the SALT discussion, we asked everyone present.

 

 How did you feel about the SALT conversation?

1) We have never discussed a good thing in someone's life like this.

2) We came to know that everyone has a desire to help each other, which we would not have understood if we had not come to this discussion meeting today.

3) We came to know the strength of each other.

4) If we all work together, we can make some changes in the village.

5) Big changes can be started with small concerns.

concerns: After doing SALT with the youth in Govindapala village, they themselves discussed it in the village one day at 5 pm. During the discussion, they said that the Anganwari school in our village is surrounded by many small trees, it has become like a jungle, there may be snakes, in the morning the young children of our village go there to study. Any day there can be a Their big danger, all the youth in the village decide to come together and clean the places near the school. The next day, all the people in the village gather at one place at 7 am. A total of 40-45 people from the village come.
