Hi everyone,

I am Maya, working with South India AIDS Action Programme (SIAAP) and looking into a project where we work with youth in 13 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Thanks Rituu for this initiative and bringing us together. I am excited to be part of this group, to be able to share my experiences and learn from that of others. From this year onwards, we also plan to involve youth in villages to be part of our review processes and to learn from them.

Wishing you all a great year ahead and looking forward to staying in touch!

Thank you very much for creating this forum. HENU works with the youth in schools and the that have dropped out of school. Peer support is very important more especially in fighting HIV. In Uganda we have very many adolescents living with HIV and they have very many challenging questions. Their situation is a time bomb once it is not handled properly it is bound to explode and victims will be many.

I am happy to be part of the team.

Happy New Year

Je suis très heureux de rejoindre ce groupe qui j'espère me permettra de connaitre et partager des expériences avec d'autres jeunes à travers le monde sur l'approche communautaire avec les jeunes face au VIH et le Sida.

one of those best things happening on competence page--always new innovations and creativity-trying as much as possible to accomodate everyone and targetting them at their level...extraordinarily excited to be a member....I am sure we will find it interesting to share and learn while we support each other...

Hello everyone! I am Girlie from the Philippines and it is about time that we acknoeldge the voice of the youth today. Here, we see the youth as a vilnerable population. Interventions, programs and projects are prepared to help them. However, as part of our process, we must be able to really listen to them and start where our youth are!!! Building their capacities in addressing their issues and concern can be a great start. Making them a part of the interventions from discussions, planning, implementation , monitoring and evaluation can make the difference

Dear Rituu,Sana, I must confess I admire and very much love this concept of youths Competence. Yes! youths needs to be fully and actively involve in issues regarding youths.

Thought we may be working on youth related issues, creating the space for youths to speak for themselves, to hoping thatl they, too represent their voices in all decision makings.

I am immensely grateful to be part of the network for Youth.

with best regards

ziwoh
