- I am a french student (Master degree) living in Chiang Mai for an internship with The Constellation. I just arrived in Chiang Mai, as the Interfaith Work began with the Dutch team. I learned lots of things during this week, about the SALT method, as we went to visit the communities (muslims, buddhists, christians). I really look forward to learn more and more about SALT, and find a way to expend that method.

- ... being tolerant, thanks to my parents, and of my ability to work in different groups (University, activities, as a volunteer..) in order to share ideas, promoting equality between each others. I am also proud of my very close-knit family.

My country, France, is dealing with many different cultural and social backgrounds, due to the immigration. Today, the government does not know how to take benefit from the diversity that our country presents, and instead of taking advantage of that richness, the government blames on it because thinks that immigration is the main cause for the current problems in the society (unemployment, violence, crime..). Indeed, we met altogether at the Catholic Mission Center, in Muang District in Chiang Mai, on february 28th. There, were the Dutch Team (Brigitte, Alper, Mustapha and Bastiaan), Dr. E. Mohamed Rafique (from CARE, India), the INAT, the Constellation and I. I had never began a "work session" on a sunday ! :)
