Dear coaches, I gave 2 presentations the last week in Guyana that might be useful for you:

1. Introducing Community Life competence to the Joint UN team and partners (USAID, etc)
2. Introducing the building of a Knowledge Asset

Hope this is useful,
Gaston

Live the future, make your plan

Dear coaches,

I am very much enjoying the process whereby coaches reconfirm their availability.
And I thank you all for the efforts with which you are applying the process.
Doing the self-assessment with two other coaches, face to face or virtually, really helps us to reconnect. But also to see how we as coaches can continue to grow and learn. We are applying the Community Life Competence Process to our own journey as coaches.
I was sitting at my almost famous kitchen table with Geoff when we discussed my self assessment. Conclusion quickly was that my facilitation and coaching skills are most advanced where it concerns distance communication. In the past years I have been involved in face to face facilitation of moments in processes, but I have not been alongside a full process. Time has come for me to connect to a ‘real’ experience, face to face.
Geoff suggested a process to create ‘Achievable Outcomes’ as a way to plan my Personal Development Plan. The process lets you dream about where you want to be and then encourages you to think through what you need to have in place and need to do, to get to the dream. It lets you feel, see and taste your success already. You will find the questions that Geoff and I used at: http://www.transformdestiny.com/nlp-guide/nlp-keys-to-an-achievable...
You can walk through the list on your own, but it is nicer to have a life conversation with another coach. Just a suggestion, for those who are working on their coaches confirmation and their personal development plan those days. I will tell you next year if I have been able to achieve my dream 

Best wishes,

Marlou

Capacity Development

This may be a book worth looking out for. I contributed a chapter on Knowledge Networking.with an example from the Constellation. I don't know more about the rest except what I have read on the flyer RV100722FlyerCapacityDevelopmentinPracticeFINAL.pdf but if the rigour of the editorial process is a guide then we can all learn something from it!

Very welcome, Mai. Nice to 'see' you again! Have a look at the discussion forum, here above, where we are currently exchanging on 'what is a Constellation Coach'. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Dear coaches,

The new Per Diem rates from the Belgium Government (made public on 10 April 2009) are now available in the key document section of the coaches platform.
We have started applying this rate for our travelers this week. We will refer to the category 1 for travelers who are travelling less then 1 month, and category 2 for those who travel longer.
With best wishes,

Marlou

Finally, I found my way into the coaches group as well. I don't know where to start to get some of your thoughts on my daily challenges of Transferring the Competence Process to new partners and topics. I will soon start a discussion in the forum on some of the big opportunities that are ahead for which we need your experiences. We'll be in touch! Regards,

I would like to pass this sad news that David Kpevia's wife had a stillbirth a week ago. David is one of the coaches in Sierra Leone.
