we are taking SALT in vashi village. A couple of months ago the salt activity with the Anganwadi Sevika was done. After that it was decided to take SALT training there. In the beginning the day of salt was fixed, after that only a few questions were asked to Anganwadi Sevika. In which they were asked about the problems they faced while working in the Anganwadi then everyone told the problems.

 

   After that, there was SALT training. SALT was taken in the beginning of that training. SALT activity with Anganwadi worker was done last time, that time the good work done in their life that was remembered. After that SALT training was started. In which they was told about CLCP. And there was a conversation about how this salt will get rid of the problem. Everyone liked the SALT activity and they said that the relationship between our people and the villagers would be good and better. This will make it easier for us to work on any subject in the village. 

AER was taught after SALT training. 

     After the SALT training was over, we told everyone to take SALT in their home. In which they will take SALT with any member of their household. When Anganwadi Sevika takes SALT with anyone in the house or village, we will help them in the beginning. Going forward, they can take salt themselves so we will be with them if they want any help from us.

1. Today we will find out what will change with salt while working in the community.

2. When we taking salt in any place, people should not be bored, so they should start with some game, song or entertainment.

3. Next time we meet, we will take SALT activity with our family in which our team will help us.

In this work, what is critical is that demand for SALT training came from the Aanganwadi workers who are grassroot level workers engaged with government programmes for care of young children. The workers told the Avani team that they like the way you talk to them, similarly they want to improve their skills in facilitating conversations with the parents. Well done Shahrukh!
