Damn, this broccoli makes me back!

I was providing interpreting service to Jean Louise on three functions of learning, transfer and sharing. On the way back home, I reflect why was this not easy. I was sweated and thought so hard to understand his words. His explanation on the three function meant nothing to me. Why? It was as I felt as translation not interpretation since it did not ring the bell.
Undertanding then revealed when he talk about our living organization and analogy of broccoli that has similar structure at it whole part. . This broccoli awaken my conscience of my body. The structure and function of my own. My body working to follow function. The function to be alive. Meaningful life. Structure of my body will only be function well and meet meaningful life when this contain spirit. And then what are them. A H A...that is it, the spirit of learning, sharing and transfer.
Almost 8 months I did not realize my learning since I missed two other function. Learning will not be there when we not transfer and sharing. Me as a human will not to be when I could do these three functions. Sharing and transfer of learning ask time investment, a break for reflection and writing as codification of the learning. I still not be able to see in what way broccoli structure ignite my lost as a human who forget to under lining my learning through two other function. Thanks a lot Opa JL for you broccoli story.

Ibu Wiwin! Memang, permahaman JL, ini sulit bangatt.  Tapi kamu memahami konsep2 dalam bahasa asing yang orang lain nga bisa mengerti dalam bahasa yang mereka kenal pertama. This is probably because the concepts transcend words... they are understandings we get from experience. I believe this is why language is not such a barrier in our community, The Constellation. We are all human and we all understand these concepts of SALT.
