Crowdfund a local response: in Sankuru, together against monkeypox

What is a local response and how can I help?

Local teams respond to their current challenges and work towards longer-term dreams by encouraging local ownership of issues and solutions. This is what we mean by a local response.
Some teams have more pressing needs than others at any given time, and would benefit greatly from your support now.

In Sankuru, together against monkeypox

In Sankuru, DRC, a SALT team wants to encourage communities in the remote tropical forest to manage the health crisis caused by Monkeypox. To involve all at-risk inhabitants, new SALT facilitators need to be trained and accompanied. An urgent and life-saving activity that can avoid further unnecessary victims and deaths. The experienced RDC Competence coaches who, in collaboration with UNICEF and others, have successfully introduced large-scale community management of WASH, family health and child vaccination will provide technical support to the Sankuru Team.

Find out more about the dream of the Sankuru team, here.

The Constellation supports the Sankuru SALT teams fundraising activities by shedding a light on their activities. From 15 October 2016 – 15 January 2017 you will read regular updates on progress in Sankuru on this Constellations virtual platform and in our monthly newsletter.
