As a result of SALT Conversation, the youth team is working on recycling and the environment by creating their dreams.জীবনে কিছু মুহূর্ত এমন থাকে, যা আমাদের চিন্তা-চেতনা ও জীবনধারাকে বদলে দেয়। আমার জন্য তেমনই একটি মুহূর্ত শুরু হয়েছিল যখন আমি আশীর্বাদ অর্গানাইজেশনে একজন ফেসিলিটেটর হিসেবে যুক্ত হই।

এর আগে আমি শুধু একজন ছাত্রী ছিলাম। আমার জীবনে তেমন মানুষের সাথে কথা বলার বা তাদের গল্প শোনার সুযোগ খুব কমই এসেছে। কিন্তু আশীর্বাদে যুক্ত হওয়ার পর থেকে আমার জীবন যেন এক নতুন পথ ধরল। এখন আমার প্রায় প্রতিদিনই কমিউনিটিতে গিয়ে সল্ট করতে হয়, নতুন নতুন মানুষের সাথে কথা বলতে হয়। আর আশ্চর্যজনকভাবে আমি এই কাজটা ভীষণ উপভোগ করি!

প্রথমদিকে আমি কিছুটা লাজুক ছিলাম। মানুষের সাথে এত খোলামেলা কথা বলা আমার অভ্যাসে ছিল না। কিন্তু এখন যখন আমি কমিউনিটিতে যাই, মনে হয় যেন ওটাই আমার দ্বিতীয় বাড়ি, মানুষগুলো আমার আপনজন। তাদের সাথে আমার এক অদ্ভুত সম্পর্ক তৈরি হয়েছে। তারা আমার সাথে খুব আন্তরিকভাবে কথা বলে, তাদের সুখ-দুঃখ শেয়ার করে।

কমিউনিটিতে সল্ট করতে করতে আমি কিছু উৎসাহী ও পরোপকারী ছেলে-মেয়েদের সাথে পরিচিত হই। প্রথমে তাদের সাথে ছোট ছোট আলাপ হতো, তারপর একদিন তারা নিজেরাই আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করল আমার সাথে নিয়মিত সল্ট করার। তারা শুধু নিজেরাই অংশ নেয়নি, বরং তাদের বন্ধুবান্ধবদেরও নিয়ে এসেছে আমাদের আলোচনায়।

অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নিল একটি গ্রুপ তৈরি করবে। এরপর আমরা একসাথে প্রথম গ্রুপ মিটিং করি এবং তাদের ড্রিম বিল্ডিং সেশন করি। তারা নিজেরাই তাদের গ্রুপের জন্য একটি সুন্দর নাম ঠিক করল – "স্বপ্নের সিঁড়ি"।

  কমিউনিটির প্রতি ভালোবাসা

স্বপ্নের সিঁড়ি টিমের প্রত্যেকজনই ভীষণ পরিশ্রমী, সাহসী এবং একে অপরের প্রতি আন্তরিক। তাদের স্বপ্ন একটাই – নিজেদের; কমিউনিটিকে আরও সুন্দর ও পরিচ্ছন্ন একটি জায়গায় পরিণত করা।

প্রথম উদ্যোগ হিসেবে তারা নিজেরাই সিদ্ধান্ত নিল তাদের এলাকা পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখবে। প্রতি সপ্তাহে তারা গলিগুলো পরিষ্কার করত। এলাকার কেউ অসুস্থ হলে, যদি তার আর্থিক সামর্থ্য না থাকে, তখন তারা নিজেরাই টাকা তুলে তাকে সাহায্য করত।

তারা একসাথে বসে আরেকটি অসাধারণ উদ্যোগ নিল – বোতল রিসাইক্লিং প্রজেক্ট।

১)তারা কমিউনিটির মানুষের কাছ থেকে খালি বোতল সংগ্রহ করত।

২)বোতলগুলো কেটে সাজিয়ে রাখত।

৩)নিজেদের টাকায় রং কিনে বোতলগুলো রঙিন করত।

বোতলে সুন্দর নকশা ও সচেতনতামূলক বার্তা লিখত, যাতে মানুষ পরিবেশ নিয়ে সচেতন হয়।!

বোতলের কাজ শেষ হওয়ার পর তারা নিজেরাই নদীর চরে গিয়ে মাটি ও গাছ সংগ্রহ করত। পরে সবাই মিলে বসে বোতলগুলোতে মাটি ভরে গাছ লাগাত। এই গাছগুলো তারা কমিউনিটির মানুষের মাঝে বিতরণ করত।

সবচেয়ে ভালো লাগার বিষয় হলো—এই ছেলে-মেয়েদের অনেকেই পুজোর মহালয়ে অভিনয় ও বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক কাজে যুক্ত থাকে। তবুও তারা আনন্দের সাথে, স্বেচ্ছায় এই সামাজিক কাজগুলো করে।

 আমার জীবনের সেরা অনুভূতি

এই অভিজ্ঞতাটা আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে আনন্দময় মুহূর্তগুলোর একটি। কারণ আমি এমন একটি গ্রুপ পেয়েছি যারা খুবই একটিভ, একতাবদ্ধ এবং কমিউনিটির উন্নতির জন্য চিন্তা করে। তারা নিয়মিত পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখে এবং অন্যদেরও উৎসাহিত করে।

আজকের এই অনুভূতি আমার কাছে সত্যিই বিশেষ। আমি গর্বিত যে আমি তাদের পাশে থাকতে পারছি, তাদের সাথে শিখছি এবং তাদের স্বপ্নের সাথে 

 দাঁড়াতে পেরেছি!!

এবং স্বপ্নের সিঁড়ি ইউথ টিমের মোট আট জন ছেলে মেয়ে ছিল! তাদের পরিচয়; 

১) করণ হরিজন পিরিত: সে একজন ছাত্র দশম শ্রেণীর এবং তার মা বাবা দুজনে ই পরিচ্ছন্ন কর্মী পিরিত খুবই মেধাবী একজন ছাত্র এবং সে অনেক ভালো আর্ট করতে পারে !! এবং আর্টের জন্য পুরস্কার ও পেয়েছে স্কুল থেকে; 

২) আঁচল হরিজন : আঁচল আগে পড়াশোনা করত কিন্তু পারিবারিক কারণে তার পড়াশোনাটা বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যায় তারপর সে অনলাইনে মাধ্যমে ক্লাস করে এবং আঁচলের মা-বাবা ভাই ও পরিচ্ছন্ন কর্মী!!

৩) পলক হরিজন: পলকের মা নেই মারা গিয়েছেন" এবং তার পরিবারের তারপরও ভাই একজন প্রতিবন্ধী এবং বাবা সংসার পরিচালনা জন্য সারাক্ষণ কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকে!! পলক হলেশান্ত ও নম্র স্বভাবের লাজুক প্রকৃতির একটা ছেলে!!

৪) পাখি হরিজন দিশা: পাখি নবম শ্রেণীর একজন ছাত্রীর এবং সেও খুবই নম্র পরোপকারী একটি মেয়ে এবং সব সময় তার মুখে হাসি লেগে থাকে';

৫) তুলি হরিজন: তুলি ডিগ্রি দ্বিতীয় বর্ষের ছাত্রী!! তুলি খুবই ধৈর্যশীল নেতৃত্ব বাদী একটি মেয়ে এবং পরোপকারী!! 

৬) সিয়ান হরিজন: সিয়ান খুবই চঞ্চল প্রকৃতির একটি ছেলে এবং সে নবম শ্রেণীতে পড়ে এবং কারো বিপদ হলে সবার আগে সাহায্যের জন্য ছুটে চলে যায়!! সে খুবই মিশুক স্বাভাবিক একজন ছেলে 

৭) কাব্য : কাব্য খুবই শান্ত নম্র ভদ্র ও খুবই বিনয়ী একটি ছেলে সব সময় চুপচাপ ও লাজুক স্বভাবের!! কাব্য অষ্টম শ্রেণীর একজন ছাত্র!!

৮) শ্রদ্ধা হরিজন: শ্রদ্ধা পঞ্চম শ্রেণীর একজন ছাত্রী সে খুবই আগ্রহী যে কোন কাজের প্রতি এবং কিছুটা চঞ্চল ও হাসিখুশি স্বভাবের মেয়ে এবং যেকোনো কাজ করার জন্য তৎপরতা থাকে

এই টিম আমার কাছে শুধুই একটি গ্রুপ নয়; এটি আমার অনুপ্রেরণা| তারা আমাকে শিখিয়েছে যে, ছোট ছোট উদ্যোগ নিয়ে ও বড় পরিবর্তন আনা যায়

There are moments in life that completely change the way we think and live.

For me, one such moment began when I joined the Ashirbad Organization as a facilitator.

Before that, I was just a student. I hardly had the opportunity to talk to people or listen to their stories. But after joining Ashirbad, my life seemed to take a new turn.

Now, almost every day I visit the community, do SALT conversations, and talk to new people. Surprisingly, I truly enjoy this work!

At first, I was a bit shy. Speaking so openly with strangers was not something I was used to. But now, when I go to the community, it feels like my second home, and the people there feel like family. We’ve built a special bond. They speak to me with so much warmth and share their joys and sorrows with me.

While doing SALT, I met some enthusiastic and compassionate boys and girls. At first, our conversations were short, but one day they expressed their interest in doing regular SALT with me. Not only did they take part, but they also brought their friends along to join our discussions.

Soon, they decided to form a group of their own. Together we held our first group meeting and did a dream-building session. They chose a beautiful name for their group — “Dream Ladder” (Shapner Siri).

Each member of the Dream Ladder team is hardworking, brave, and deeply caring for one another. They all share one dream — to make their community a cleaner, more beautiful place to live.

As their very first initiative, they decided to keep their area clean. Every week, they would clean the streets. If someone in the area fell ill and could not afford treatment, they would raise money among themselves to help.

Another amazing initiative they took together was a Bottle Recycling Project:

1. They collected empty bottles from community members.

2. They cut and organized the bottles neatly.

3. With their own money, they bought paints and decorated the bottles beautifully, writing messages to raise awareness about protecting the environment.

After finishing the bottles, they went to the riverside to collect soil and plants. Together, they filled the bottles with soil and planted small trees in them. Then, they distributed these bottle-plants among the community members.

What amazed me most was that many of these boys and girls were actively involved in drama performances and other cultural activities during festivals — yet they still happily volunteered for such social work.

One of the Best Feelings of My Life

This experience is one of the happiest moments of my life. Because I have found a group that is so active, united, and genuinely committed to improving their community. They regularly keep their surroundings clean and inspire others to do the same.

Today, this feeling is truly special for me. I feel proud that I can stand beside them, learn with them, and support their dreams.

Meet the Dream Ladder Youth Team (8 Members):

1. Karon Horizon Pirit: A 10th-grade student whose parents both work as cleaners. Pirit is a very talented student and an excellent artist. He has even won awards for his artwork at school.

2. Anchol Horizon: She used to study at school, but due to family reasons, she had to discontinue. Now she attends classes online. Her parents and brother also work as cleaners.

3. Polok Horizon: Polok lost his mother at a young age. His brother is differently-abled, and his father works tirelessly to support the family. Polok is a calm, gentle, and shy boy.

4. Pakhi Horizon Disha: A 9th-grade student who is kind, helpful, and always has a smile on her face.

5. Tuli Horizon: A 2nd-year degree student who is patient, a natural leader, and very compassionate.

6. Siyan Horizon: A cheerful and energetic boy, studying in 9th grade. He is always the first to run and help if someone is in trouble.

7. Kavya: A very quiet, humble, polite, and shy boy. He is currently in 8th grade.

8. Shraddha Horizon: A 5th-grade student who is very eager to participate in every task. She is cheerful, lively, and always ready to take action.

This team is more than just a group to me — they are my inspiration.

They have taught me that even small initiatives can lead to big changes.
