When I think about SALT, I don’t just think about identifying problems. I think about discovering possibilities, the kind that already live within a group, waiting to be brought to life.



In Narayanganj’s Harijan community, the home language is different from Bangladesh's mainstream language. It’s the language of their everyday life, laughter, and family conversations. But in school, the national language, Bangla, takes center stage. For many children here, that shift isn’t easy.…

The Beauty of SALT: Meaningful moments of connection

Some moments in life stay with us forever, not because they’re extraordinary, but because they remind us of the beauty in human connection. One such moment happened to me while visiting a community temple in October, 2024 at Tanbazar City Colony, Narayanganj.
