Hmmmm - seeing some great energy emerging (and re-emerging) around our offering to businesses. May I invite you all to visit the Global Support Team Intranet to see what tools are available for talking about it with your business peers?https://sites.google.com/a/communitylifecompetence.org/the-gst-intr...
You can also find a brilliant powerpoint developed by Joel and Rebecca Gordon, used to present the business offering to Standard Chartered Bank in India. Big thanks to Joel and Rebecca!
Boris is working on a Beta version of the website and would welcome any volunteers to work alongside him so that we can quickly publish it.
So please pop in and visit these resources. If you cannot access the intranet, email me and I'll add your permissions (olivia.munoru@gmail.com). Also, if you have developed some useful tools or presentations which you'd like to share, please share them here on this forum so I can add them to the site.
Cheers,
Olivia
Welcome to the group Louise! I also recently joined the community and am passionate about the SALT approach and the enthusiasm of all communities. I now live in Belgium near Brussels but was previously posted in Africa for 23 years (RSA being my last post back in 2006), in the private sector. My dream is to bring more humanity to the business environment through the SALT approach. I am sure we have experience and ideas to share, learn from and implement.
Thank you for the warm welcome Rituu! I am very inspired but what this group is working on and hope I can make a positive contribution.
I work a great deal on the private sector side and I can see real demand for this offering. Here in South Africa it is legally required that companies "invest" in communities, but more often than not these investments don't have the desired impact. SALT is clean, simple and powerful tool that could definitely change the game. Please let me know how I can assist.
For those who want to get to know me, my website is www.firstprinciples.org
First Principles is about getting back to basics - SALT feels like just the thing.
A warm welcome Louise to this group! You are doing great work in South Africa on sustainability development in private sector and IFC/World Bank. I like what you raised- do we take into account the needs of end user when we compile policy?
Dear Friends,

Thanks to Rituu I got acquinted with CLC and really try to use it in my life. During the days spend with her and people who are also interested in helping each other I got the sparkle which led me to the idea of creating something of my own. Confidence led me to people who share my ideas and now they are my partners. We do not have anything ready yet, but we work hard on achieving our aims.
Rituu advised me to enter this group to develop my knowledge, thanks for this opportunity.
yours Milka
A warm welcome to Milka! She is a CLC champion.
I met Milka as a translator in Constellation's learning event at Kazan, Russia last October. Milka was participating fully from the third day of the event! She continued to support the Constellation through translation in 2012. Milka tried to raise funds to travel to India for Global Learning Festival but it did not work out.
Now this beautiful, smart lady is starting her own business venture. Funds will not stop me from attending Constellation events, says Milka. Good luck Milka.
