স্বপ্নের হাই স্কুল: ঋষিপাড়ার মায়েদের গল্প - The Dream High School: The Story of the Mothers of Rishipara

ঋষিপাড়া কমিউনিটিতে ইনডিভিজুয়াল সল্ট সেশনে গিয়ে আমি অনেক মায়ের সঙ্গে কথা বলেছিলাম। প্রত্যেকের চোখে ছিল একটাই স্বপ্ন,তাদের সন্তান যেন স্কুলে যায়, লেখাপড়া শিখে নিজের জীবনে কিছু করে।

এই কমিউনিটিতে শিক্ষার হার খুবই কম। টানবাজার থেকে ঋষিপাড়ায় সিফট হওয়ার পর অনেক মা জানতেনই না, এখানে একটি সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় আছে। গ্রুপ সল্ট সেশনে যখন বিষয়টি উঠে আসে, তারা বিস্মিত হন। সেদিন থেকেই শুরু হয় তাদের স্বপ্নের পথচলা।

ড্রিম বিল্ডিং সেশনে এসে সেই স্বপ্নগুলো আরও স্পষ্ট হয়। মায়েরা বুঝতে পারেন,তাদের হাতেই আছে পরিবর্তনের শক্তি। রান্নার কাজে দক্ষ এই নারীরা সিদ্ধান্ত নেন নিজেদের সামর্থ্য দিয়েই সন্তানদের স্কুলে ভর্তি করবেন।

অবশেষে ১১ অক্টোবর ২০২৫ তারিখে, রিশিপাড়ার সব মা একত্রিত হন।

তাদের হাতে ছিল ডাল, চাল, জিরার গুঁড়া, জিরা, পানের মশলা- রান্নাঘরের এসব উপকরণ দিয়েই তারা প্রতীকীভাবে তৈরি করেন তাদের স্বপ্নের স্কুল।

সেদিন কেউ ইট-বালি আনেননি, আনেননি অর্থ-করি

আনেন শুধু ভালোবাসা, বিশ্বাস আর একসাথে বদলে দেওয়ার অঙ্গীকার।

চোখে জল, মুখে হাসি, আর বুকভরা আশা নিয়ে মায়েরা এই প্রতিকি স্কুল বানান।

রিশিপাড়ার মায়েরা আমাদের শিখিয়েছেন-স্বপ্ন তখনই সত্যি হয়, যখন তা নিজের হাতে গড়ে তোলা হয়।

During the individual SALT sessions in the Rishipara community, I spoke with many mothers. In each of their eyes, I saw the same dream — that their children would go to school, receive an education, and build a better life.

The literacy rate in this community is very low. After moving from Tanbazar to Rishipara, many of the mothers didn’t even know that there was a Government primary school in the area. When this came up during the group SALT session, they were surprised — and that moment became the beginning of their journey toward realizing their dreams.

Later, in the Dream Building session, their dreams became clearer. The mothers realized that the power to create change was in their own hands. Skilled in cooking, these women decided to use their own abilities to send their children to school.

Finally, on October 11, 2025, all the mothers of Rishipara gathered together.

In their hands were lentils, rice, cumin powder, cumin seeds, and betel spices — the everyday ingredients from their kitchens — with which they symbolically built their dream school.

That day, no one brought bricks or cement, nor any money or materials.

They brought only love, faith, and a shared commitment to change.

With tears in their eyes, smiles on their faces, and hearts full of hope, the mothers built this symbolic school —

teaching us that dreams truly come to life only when we build them with our own hands.
