কমিউনিটির বর্ষাকাল :-
লবনাক্ত আবহাওয়ায় ঘরের খুটি এবং টিন লোনা লেগে নষ্ট হয়েছে যাচ্ছে। ঝড় বৃষ্টির প্রভাব সেখানে অনেক  বেশি থাকে। ঝড়ে ঘরের চালের টিন উড়ে যেতে পারে। সেই জন্য  আষাঢ় মাস আসার আগেই সবাই ঘরের চালের সাথে টানা বেধে রাখে। সাইডে মাটিগুলো পলি দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখে। যেনো বৃষ্টিতে ভেঙ্গে না যায়। বর্ষাকাল আসলেই শুরু হয় বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষনের আয়োজন। যে যতো পারে পাত্র সংগ্রহ করে বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষন করে। কারণ তাদের খাওয়ার পানির একমাত্র উৎস বৃষ্টির পানি।এই পানির মজুদ শেষ হলে, সবাইকে পানি কিনে খেতে হয়। নতুন পানিতে মাছ নদীতে উঠে আসে। সেই জন্য  বৃষ্টি আসলে ফ্যামিলির সবাই মিলে মাছ ধরতে চলে যায়। টানা বৃষ্টিতে কমিউনিটির মুন্দিরে চলে কীর্তনের রেওয়াজ। কোন কোন পরিবারে চলে পিঠার আয়োজন। কেউ কেউ বৃষ্টির অবসরে তাস খেলার আসর জমায়। কেউবা আবার ব্যাস্ত থাকে কাকড়ার হ্যাচারীতে। টানা বৃষ্টিতে ঘর বন্দি বাচ্চারা পাঁচগুটি, কড়ি খেলা, মার্বেল খেলাসহ বিভিন্ন খেলায় ব্যাস্ত থাকে। আর যারা ক্ষেতমজুরের কাজ করে তারা পড়ে চরম বিপদে। একদিন কাজ না করলে তাদের রান্নার ব্যাবস্হা হয় না। কারণ তারা দিন আনে দিন খায়।
কমিউনিটির বর্ষাকাল যেমন কারো জন্য উৎসবের, তেমনই আবার কারো জন্য অনাহারের।

Community rainy season:-

In the salty weather, the poles and tin of the house are getting damaged due to salt. The impact of storms and rains is very high there. The tin of the roof of the house can fly away in a storm. That is why everyone ties it to the roof of the house before the month of Ashadh arrives.The soil on the sides is covered with silt. So that it does not break in the rain. The rainy season really starts the organization of rainwater conservation. Everyone collects as many containers as they can and conserves rainwater. Because rainwater is their only source of drinking water.When this water supply runs out, everyone has to buy water to drink. Fish come up in the river in the new water. That is why when it rains, the whole family goes out to catch fish. During the continuous rain, the tradition of singing kirtan is held in the community hall.Some families organize pitha celebrations. Some gather to play cards during the rainy season. Some are busy in the crab hatchery. Children, confined to their homes due to the continuous rain, are busy playing various games including panchguti, kadi khel, and marbles.And those who work as agricultural laborers are in extreme danger. If they don't work for a day, they don't have the money to cook. Because they eat day after day.

The rainy season in the community is a time of celebration for some, but also of hunger for others.
