উদ্যোক্তা মানসিকতা নিয়েই  বেড়ে উঠেছেন ভূ-পাল দাস গুপ্ত। তার বিচক্ষণতা হিসেবি এবং নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে ধারাকে বহুমুখী প্রতিষ্ঠানে রুপান্তর করছেন।  উনার অবদানে প্রথম ডিজিটাল শহর যশোরে তৈরী হয়েছে পরিবেশ বান্ধব ব্লক ইটের ভাটা। ৬০% খরচ দিয়ে অসংখ্য মানুষের ঘর তৈরী করে দিয়ে উনি হয়েছেন মানুষের আশ্রয়। অর্ধশতাধিক প্রতিবন্ধী পরিবারে রিক্সা উপহার দিয়ে উনি ধারাকে বানিয়েছেন আহার দাতা। শতশত মানুষের ফ্রী চক্ষু  চিকিৎসার ব্যাবস্হা করেন। তিনি অন্ধের হাতে তুলে দেন সাদা ছড়ি। প্রতিবন্ধীদের সেলাই প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে প্রদান করেন সেলাই মেশিন। যেটা ঐ পরিবারের একটা উপার্জনের ব্যাবস্হা হয়ে যায়।  তিনি শ্রবন প্রতিবন্ধীর কানের মেশিন উপহার দিয়ে থাকেন। এসব অসহায় মানুষের সেবায় উনার অবদান অনস্বীকার্য।  উনার অবদানেই ধারা আজ অসহায় প্রতিবন্ধীদের দিচ্ছে কম্পিউটার প্রশিক্ষণ।  মানুষের সেবায় নিয়োজিত নওয়াবেকি হসপিটালে যার অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশি, তিনি হলেন ভূ-পাল দাস গুপ্ত। তিনি শ্যামনগর বাসীর অত্যধুনিক সেবার জন্য তৈরী করছেন মেডিকেল কলেজ & নার্সিং ইনস্টিটিউট। যেটা ঐ অঞ্চলের মানুষের আশীর্বাদ।  শতশত বাচ্চাদের লেখা পড়ার জন্য ধারার রয়েছে ১১ টা প্রি- প্রাইমারি স্কুল।  ছোট ছোট অনেক উদ্যোক্তা আছে যারা টাকার অভাবে ব্যাবসা  শুরু করতে পারে না। এমন নারী পুরুষের জন্য ধারা তৈরী করছে মাইক্রো ক্রেডিট।  যেখানে তার অবদান অশেষ। তিনি যশোর বাসীর অত্যধুনিক নান্দনিক আভিজাত্যপূর্ণ পোশাক পাওয়ার সুবিধার্থে  তৈরী করছেন "ধারা  মেঘা সপ". এমন নির্ভিক, সাহসিক, মানবিক, বিচক্ষণ, হিসেবি, বলিষ্ঠ কণ্ঠ, নিয়মানুবর্তিতা,  সফল উদ্দোক্তা এবং নেতৃত্ব দানের  গুণ সম্পন্ন ব্যাক্তি আছে দেখেই ধারা আজ একটি সফল প্রতিষ্ঠানে পৌঁছাতে পেরেছে। এতগুলো গুনের গুণান্বিত  হওয়ার পর ও এবং ধারার মতো সফল প্রতিষ্ঠানের (PD) Program Director পদের অধিকারী হওয়ার পর ও যার নেই কোনো অহংকার, দাম্ভিকতা, যিনি শ্রমিক কর্মচারী সবার সাথে বড় ভাইয়ের মতো ব্যাবহার করেন, তিনিই ভূপাল দাস গুপ্ত। তিনি শুধু মাত্র ধারাতেই দায়িত্ব পালন করেন তাই নয়,  তিনি পরিবারের সদস্যদের প্রতি ও খুবই দায়িত্ব বান।  উনার দুই ছেলে ডাক্তার হওয়ার পিছনে ছিলো কঠোর দায়িত্ব বোধ। উনার বৃদ্ধ মা কে নিজে হসপিটালে নিয়ে গিয়ে পরীক্ষা নিরীক্ষা করান, ডাক্তার দেখান।এগুলো ভালো বাসা এবং দায়িত্ব বোধের বহিঃপ্রকাশ।

এমন একজন বহুগুণে গুণান্বিত ব্যাক্তির ছত্রছায়ায় থেকে হাজারো সেবামূলক কার্যক্রমে জড়িত হতে পেরে   আমি নিজেকে গর্বিত অনুভব করি।

Bhupal Das Gupta grew up with an entrepreneurial mindset. With his prudence, calculation and leadership, he is transforming Dhara into a multi-faceted organization. With his contribution, an eco-friendly block brick kiln has been built in Jessore, the first digital city.He has become a shelter for people by building houses for countless people at 60% of the cost. He has made Dhara a food donor by gifting rickshaws to more than fifty disabled families.He provides free eye treatment to hundreds of people. He gives white canes to the blind. He trains the disabled in sewing and provides sewing machines. Which becomes a source of income for the family.He donates hearing aids to the hearing impaired. His contribution to the service of these helpless people is undeniable. It is because of his contribution that Dhara is now providing computer training to the helpless disabled.The person who has contributed the most to Nawabeki Hospital, which is dedicated to serving the people, is Bhupal Das Gupta. He is building a Medical College & Nursing Institute to provide state-of-the-art services to the residents of Shyamnagar.
Which is a blessing for the people of that region. There are 11 pre-primary schools in Dhara for hundreds of children to study. There are many small entrepreneurs who cannot start a business due to lack of money.Microcredit is creating a trend for such men and women.Where his contribution is endless. He is creating "Dhara Megha Sap" to facilitate the people of Jessore to get the latest aesthetic and noble clothes. Such a fearless, courageous, humane, prudent, calculating, strong voice, discipline, Dhara has been able to become a successful organization today because of the presence of successful entrepreneurs and individuals with leadership qualities.After being endowed with so many qualities and holding the position of Program Director (PD) of a successful organization like Dhara, he is someone who has no arrogance or conceit, who treats all workers and employees like an elder brother, that is Bhupal Das Gupta.He not only performs his duties in a disciplined manner, but he is also very responsible towards his family members. His two sons had a strong sense of responsibility behind them becoming doctors. He himself took his elderly mother to the hospital for tests and to see a doctor.These are expressions of good homes and a sense of responsibility. 

I feel proud to be involved in thousands of service activities under the umbrella of such a multi-talented person.
