DRAFT Knowledge Assets

Friends,

 

During our meeting in Nairobi, we practised developing Knowledge Assets for a few practises from our HIVOS Self-Assessment framework.  These Knowledge Assets attempted to identify experiences from amongst the partners, then analyse them to extract principles of approach and practise.

 

I am pleased to attach the draft Knowledge Assets for:

 

1. Community Ownership
2. Organisational Behaviour
3. Measurement

I am sure in time, we can continue to add our experiences to these tools so that the principles become more refined and more easily transferable to our various organisations.

Dear Ricardo and friends,

Thanks for sharing these Knowledge assets. I can see that you had in-dept discussions and I'm sure you learned a lot. I think the common principles are clear and well formulated.

Regarding the illustrations (middle column) it would be useful to give more information for each experience. It is difficult for an outsider like me to understand the experience. It will be useful to have a 2-3 sentences summary of the experience and then a 200 word story or a 2 min video to be able to really understand and learn from you.
