In Maharajganj, in the village of Folwariyan Tola, the SAFE Society team has been working with the community for the last one year using the SALT approach. The main purpose of this work was to help people recognize their own strengths and solve their problems by themselves, without waiting for outsiders.

We kept sharing one simple message:

“The problem is ours, so the solution is also ours.”

Working with Women, Youth, and Children

During this one year:

We sat with women and helped them recognize their strengths and leadership.

We talked with youth about taking responsibility for change in the village.

We conducted dream-building activities with children so they could think about their future and their village.

Slowly, people began to understand that they already have power within them. They just needed to believe in themselves.

Women Took the Lead

One of the most inspiring changes was that women not only decided to take action, but they also encouraged the men in their families to join the village cleaning effort. They spoke to their husbands and other family members and motivated them to participate.

This showed true leadership — change started from inside the homes and spread across the whole community.

A Big Change After One Year

After one year of regular meetings and discussions, something very special happened. The community did not wait for SAFE Society or anyone else. On their own, they came together and cleaned their village.

They proudly told us:

“This is our village. The problem is ours. So we will solve it.”

This was the biggest reflection and learning for us.

The Real Result

Now the community believes in its own strength. People understand that if they work together, they can keep their village clean and solve other problems too.

This is not just a story about cleaning. It is a story about confidence, unity, and community power. Folwariyan Tola has shown that when people believe in themselves and stand together, real change truly begins. 🌱

फुलवरियन टोला : समुदाय से शुरू हुआ बदलाव

महराजगंज जिले के फुलवरियन टोला गाँव में पिछले एक साल से SAFE Society की टीम समुदाय के साथ साल्ट एप्रोच द्वारा काम कर रही है। इस काम का मुख्य उद्देश्य लोगों को उनकी अपनी ताकत पहचानने में मदद करना था, ताकि वे अपनी समस्याओं का समाधान खुद कर सकें और बाहर से किसी का इंतज़ार न करें।

हम हमेशा लोगों से एक आसान बात कहते थे —

“समस्या हमारी है, तो समाधान भी हमारा ही है।”

महिलाओं, युवाओं और बच्चों के साथ काम

इस एक साल के दौरान:

हमने महिलाओं के साथ बैठकर उन्हें उनकी ताकत और नेतृत्व को पहचानने में मदद की।

युवाओं से गाँव में बदलाव की जिम्मेदारी लेने के बारे में बात की।

बच्चों के साथ सपनों से जुड़ी गतिविधियाँ कराईं, ताकि वे अपने भविष्य और अपने गाँव के बारे में सोच सकें।

धीरे-धीरे लोगों को समझ आने लगा कि बदलाव लाने की ताकत उनके अंदर ही है। उन्हें सिर्फ खुद पर भरोसा करने की जरूरत थी।

महिलाओं ने आगे बढ़कर जिम्मेदारी ली

सबसे प्रेरणादायक बदलाव यह था कि महिलाओं ने खुद काम शुरू करने का फैसला किया। उन्होंने अपने घर के पुरुषों को भी गाँव की सफाई में शामिल होने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने अपने पति और परिवार के दूसरे लोगों से बात करके उन्हें भाग लेने के लिए तैयार किया।

इससे सच्चा नेतृत्व दिखाई दिया — बदलाव घर से शुरू हुआ और पूरे समुदाय में फैल गया।

एक साल बाद बड़ा बदलाव

लगातार बैठकों और बातचीत के एक साल बाद एक खास बदलाव देखने को मिला। समुदाय ने SAFE Society या किसी और का इंतज़ार नहीं किया। लोगों ने खुद मिलकर अपने गाँव की सफाई की।

उन्होंने गर्व से कहा —

“यह हमारा गाँव है। समस्या हमारी है, इसलिए समाधान भी हम ही करेंगे।”

यह हमारे लिए सबसे बड़ी सीख और समझ थी।

असली परिणाम

अब समुदाय अपनी ताकत पर विश्वास करने लगे है, समुदाय अब मिलकर काम करने की सोच ने लगा है , अपने गाँव को साफ रख सकते हैं और दूसरी समस्याएँ भी हल कर सकते हैं।

यह सिर्फ सफाई की कहानी नहीं है। यह आत्मविश्वास, एकता और समुदाय की ताकत की कहानी है। फुलवरियन टोला ने दिखा दिया है कि जब लोग खुद पर भरोसा करते हैं और साथ मिलकर खड़े होते हैं, तो असली बदलाव शुरू होता है। 🌱
