In the beginning everyone gave a small introduction — name, work, and one good quality about themselves. At first many people were shy, even I felt a little uncomfortable. But slowly the atmosphere became light. People started smiling and talking openly. We realized that we work together every day but still don’t really know each other properly.

Then we were divided into small groups. Our task was simple — tell your partner’s strengths and solve a small problem together. This activity helped us listen carefully and notice good things in others. When people heard positive things about themselves, they felt happy and surprised. Some people said no one had appreciated them like this before.

From this session we learned many things. Every person is important in a team. Talking openly removes misunderstandings. Work becomes easier when we do it together. And even a small appreciation increases confidence a lot.

By the end of the session, the office environment had changed. Quiet people started speaking more. We were not just coworkers anymore, we felt like a team. There was more comfort and trust between everyone.

For me, it was a good learning experience. We understood that teamwork is not only working together, it is also understanding and supporting each other. When relationships become strong, work automatically becomes better.

I hope we continue such sessions in future, because real growth comes when people connect with each other, not only when they complete tasks.

हाल ही में हमारे ऑफिस में एक बहुत अच्छा और सार्थक दिन रहा। सेफ सोसाइटी टीम और रूरल एड टीम ने मिलकर एक ग्रुप SALT सेशन किया। यह किसी औपचारिक मीटिंग जैसा नहीं था, बल्कि एक दोस्ताना माहौल था जहाँ हम एक-दूसरे को बेहतर समझने की कोशिश कर रहे थे।
शुरुआत में सभी ने अपना छोटा परिचय दिया — नाम, काम और अपनी एक अच्छी बात। पहले कई लोग झिझक रहे थे, मुझे भी थोड़ा अजीब लग रहा था। लेकिन धीरे-धीरे माहौल हल्का हो गया। लोग मुस्कुराने लगे और खुलकर बात करने लगे। हमें एहसास हुआ कि हम रोज साथ काम करते हैं, फिर भी एक-दूसरे को ठीक से नहीं जानते।
फिर हमें छोटे-छोटे समूहों में बाँटा गया। हमारा काम था — अपने साथी की अच्छी बातें बताना और एक छोटी समस्या को मिलकर हल करना। इस गतिविधि से हमने ध्यान से सुनना और दूसरों की अच्छाइयों को पहचानना सीखा। जब लोगों ने अपने बारे में अच्छी बातें सुनीं तो वे खुश और हैरान हो गए। कुछ लोगों ने कहा कि उन्हें पहले कभी इस तरह सराहना नहीं मिली।
इस सेशन से हमने बहुत कुछ सीखा। हर व्यक्ति टीम में महत्वपूर्ण होता है। खुलकर बात करने से गलतफहमियाँ दूर होती हैं। साथ मिलकर काम करने से काम आसान हो जाता है। और छोटी-सी सराहना भी आत्मविश्वास बढ़ा देती है।
सेशन के अंत तक ऑफिस का माहौल बदल चुका था। जो लोग चुप रहते थे वे भी बोलने लगे। हम सिर्फ सहकर्मी नहीं रहे, बल्कि एक टीम जैसा महसूस करने लगे। सभी के बीच अपनापन और भरोसा बढ़ गया।
मेरे लिए यह एक अच्छा सीखने वाला अनुभव रहा। हमने समझा कि टीमवर्क सिर्फ साथ काम करना नहीं है, बल्कि एक-दूसरे को समझना और सहयोग देना भी है। जब रिश्ते मजबूत होते हैं, तो काम अपने-आप बेहतर हो जाता है।
मुझे उम्मीद है कि भविष्य में ऐसे सेशन होते रहेंगे, क्योंकि असली विकास तब होता है जब लोग एक-दूसरे से जुड़ते हैं, केवल काम पूरा करने से नहीं।
