Hussein is a team member of SSD, a CBO operating in Afar, Ethiopia. SSD is one of several organisations partnering with IIRR to pilot CMDRR+, an integration of the AIDS Competence Process (ACP) with the Community-management of Disaster Risk Reduction programme (CMDRR). In this clip, Hussein talks about his own experience and learning from a home visit to a woman living with HIV in Borana, and reflects how the AIDS Competence process (ACP) reveals capacity in people, and changes the way organisations think about aid and intervention.
