In 1993 The UN

said to its members:

"States should condemn violence against women & pursue by all appropriate means & without delay a policy of eliminating it."

Around 800,000 people are trafficked across borders annually. 80% are women & girls. We ask “Why?”

In Canada, one woman in four is sexually abused by age 16. Women for a Change asks “Why?”

In Mexico around 5,000 children are involved in prostitution, pornography & sex tourism. We ask “Why?”

Dear Zoneziwoh,

Hope you are well. We are planning to encourage youth to take the lead in this year's community action day and encourage other groups to join. How do you think we can stimulate youth, which youth groups to involve? Request for your suggestions.

Dear Zoneziwoh,

Thanks for your excellent suggestions for Community Action day. Would you like to facilitate it with young women for issue of VAW or peace?

Have you moved to Nairobi? I didn't know we had a TV host amongst our members:-)

Hi Zoneziwoh,
good day. Its nice reading from you and to know you put in this much efforts in fighting violence against women. This is a sensitive issue in our community and has been going on for long. What practical modalities have you put in place to ensure this? Don't you think we can take this down as far as to the primarry level of learning?
Thanks, Constance
