Japan is in the midst of a burgeoning humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions
( perhaps akin to miseries of World War II)when earthquake ,after tremors and devastating tsunami have put millions of people without water, electricity, homes and what have you.
The adage "preparedness for a disaster is the best way to guarantee an effective disaster
mitigation",has been reiterated time and again.
The greatest lesson for the humankind from this most unfortunate series of disasters this time in Japan (eathquakes and tsunami) is to mobilize all resources globally to respond to the present disaster in Japan and prepare ourselves for all such eventualities-including nuclear disasters and biological warfare.
It is very sad but we cannot forget Hiroshima and Nagasaki at this hour while attempting rehabilitation of Fukushima and other parts of the Land of rising sun devastated by rising
of sea waves.
