Inspiration from Response

As the Constellation ventures into 2015, it is with sincere appreciation I am reflecting on the overwhelming response from all of you towards the Nomination of The Constellation for the 2014 Health Systems Social Media Awards.

It was truly inspiring; it offers hope for what the Constellation can achieve with our accumulative support to local response. Seeing the endorsements was great, but seeing that it came from all continents was so exciting! Showing that 'seeds of SALT' are sown
and we hope to water and nurture these so that in the future SALT flourishes everywhere.

Your words of appreciation for what the Constellation is and mean to you was heartwarming and are motivating.

2014-09-11 07:19:29The constellation is an organization connecting and stimulating communities around the world towards achieving sustainable health systems in different parts of the world. The organization uses the social media and a webpage to promote information sharing, exchange of ideas in a "community of practice" format. I admire the content of the constellation page which is rich on diverse health topics such as the recent ebola virus disease outbreak in West and Central Africa..

2014-09-11 07:43:03The discussions in the community of practice which has more than 1900 members centre around how communities are responding around HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, infant mortality, sexual and reproductive health, diabetes and WASH. India and Kenya teams working on HIV and truck drivers learnt from each other the virtual community, went back and applied and came back to share online.
