CAD among Peer Educator PMI East Jakarta, Indonesia

Hiii All Friends.,

On 12 December 2010, around 13 Peer educators from Indonesian Red Cross ( PMI East Jakarta )celebrate Community Action day with doing building a dream and do the self assessment.there's a lot of fun and laugh during the activity.,we share and learn from each other.,

the dream of Peer educator is they want to spread the process where ever it is.they want to have a youth center, so every young people can access the information about HIV and AIDS and about everthing that related with youth health in that center.

There is a dream from Raymond, he draw a mountain with a long street, he said that his dream is we have to increase our knowledge and practice about ACP like we climb the mountain, its getting high and high and if we already on top of the mountain, dont stop, we still have alot of mountain to climb in another place..,so he want to spread the ACP in others place with another young people., what a great dream..!

After we build a dream, we do the self asessment.,and they want to increase three practice in practice 2,4 and 9. this session is very good process, we discuss and share each other why we are in that level.,we listen and appreciate each other.,

for the first time we insert the CLCP into the Peer educator  training,they were very interest.and now they apply clcp into their work and life. the different is the CLCP makes their work more easier than before.!

i've just invited some of them to join on Ning. but they said, wah we  really want to join on Ning but dont understand the languange..,haha..,but PMI already share with them,,,

Very happy to read about this event. I would like to learn more about application of CLCP by Peer educators. Were these peer educators appointed for CLCP or they incorporated CLCP in their regular work? And if its the latter, what difference has this made in their work. Warm greetings to the PE team. I like your posting, and also Raymond's dream..Its mean lifetime learning and achievement. That's really cool. Thanks Dewi.

I'd like to inform u also that CAD with salty teachers has produced commitment at Karawang District to endorsed local law on ARH and AIDS related program by local govt, parliament and universities.

 

Yes I agree with u that ACP/CLCP influence is faster that the virus.
