the Great of the Greatest from Karnataka International SALT Visit

The Karnataka Interantional SALT Visit of October 2011 awakened us on the need to gather with partners. The simple way it was organised, with support of the Constellation Community, made it possible to materialise our dream of doing similar in Mozambique. I would call that process a lesson took home. Indeed, through what we've seen in Karnataka we came motivated and dedicated to organise a similar process. We consulted technical support from Constellation members, some of whom joined us in…See More

About Me:
Human being - born in the world, specifically in African and Mozambique. No borders for me, everywhere in the world is my country. However huge love with Africa - the history of colonization, values imposition and robbery of resources is my biggest wound in the heart.

Student of political Sciences, philosophy and Economics, with interest to learn Psycho - Neuron - Immunology. I love to debate religion - not passions but concrete scripts. I'm Muslim and follow Islam as much as I can.

I'm married to a wonderful woman, who care allot about me - I even think I'm doing less to her.

Working with Handicap International - my professional career was built under lots of challenges, of course with Allah's will. Experience and knowledge sharing is my favorite way of living.
My dream:
A world where human rights, in the real sense are respected. Where no one is imposing how should people live, but share your own choice and respect others, recognizing that it is they right to chose.
My concern:
Money should not be the reason for fighting and pride. We people are more important than all materials. Respectful relationships can build a world of respect and peace. Development should be measured by the rate of happiness, peace and rights respect.
I'm proud of:
My skills of understanding and being able to transmit, in most of the cases, what I think and understand. I never transmit if I don't understand - meaning agree and capable to relate to something in my daily life. I'm proud of find too many people agreeing almost with me - this means I'm not joining people only physically, but in mind and soul.
What I think of Community Life Competence:
It is a human capacity development process than simply for AIDS Technical Competence. It is a tool to understand what and how I know, including what else I need to know and from whom I can collect it. It is a tool of sincerity.
What do I want to do to spread Community Life Competence?
Facilitate Community Life Competence in my community, Launch a facilitation team, Join a facilitation team, Share about Community Life Competence with potential partners; friends; colleagues, I want to apply SALT in my own life (S: Stimulate; Support; A: Appreciate; L: Listen; Learn; Link; T: Transfer; Team), I want to share my experience on my blog in Ning, Other, Facilitate AIDS Competence in my community, Share about AIDS Competence with potential partners; friends; colleagues
The small secretariat of the Constellation also needs help. Do you want to help? I want to:
Translate, Writing skills, Share Community Life Competence with potential partners, online facilitation, Knowledge Management, Share AIDS Competence with potential partners

Well, you all know about my passion with the Community Life Competence Process since I first went into contact with... there are no words to describe it. Always learning and learning form everywhere. I mean, the process teaches us to explore to a maximum possible extent opportunities that surround us with many hints for our own benefit and therefore our social networks (in all different dimensions). For those of you who were with me in the last visit organized in India -…

Ola Joao!

forgive for the late reply, I was extra buzy in the last three weeks.
I am sure, the people that you mean is not me, I have never been in, central Africa, east Africa, south Africa or west Africa. But I have some Africans colleagues from Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt and Tunis when I was working in Middle East.

Hi Joao,

I saw your message on my page. No problem about being silent for a while. I totally understand. If there is anything that I can do to improve Ning so that its easier for you to participate, please let me know.

Who is Sophie? I don't think she will see your message because you posted it on my profile page.
