Some people living with HIV think they can be in no further danger if they have sex without CONDOM because they are already infected which is not true. HIV has many different strains some of them very powerful. Its one's responsibility to take care of his/her own health.
Support groups should talk about difficulties members might have with condom use. Ensure that the members know exactly how to use condoms properly. support groups should help to correct any misunderstandings about condom use.
Condoms should be provided for free not for sell. people in rural areas cant afford to buy condoms and food at the sametime. Protection is better than cure.

What if you asked the Women groups what were their hopes and concerns? what if you tried strength-based approach? We faced the similar problem in India with migrants please read the experience I recently posted

I normally have meetings with Women Groups consisting of professonal health care workers and we always discuss about issues facing women and their daily lives and i always contribute on topics about HIV stigma in African countries. people are not putting efforts in using condoms. There should be a better way to supply condoms to people and demonstrate to them on how to use.
Thanks. Please can you share an experience in this as this space is for stories.
