<span;>ঘন কুয়াশা এবং হাড় কাপোনো শীতের মধ্যে দিয়ে বাইক চালিয়ে আমি যখন সাতক্ষীরা জেলার শ্যামনগর থানার গাঁতিদার নদীর ধারে নওয়াবেকি বাজারে এসে পৌছালাম। তখন মনে হলো আমি অন্য একটা রাজ্যে এসে পৌঁছেছি। এখানে কোনো শীত নেই। মনে হলো ঋতুরাজ বসন্ত এসে গেছে। এখানে ধারার হসপিটালের কোয়ার্টার থেকে যখন বুড়িগোয়ালিনি কমিউনিটিতে গেলাম, সেখানকার লোকের হাসি ভরামুখ দেখে মনে হলো সবাই আমার আপনজন। তারপর যখন SALT শুরু করলাম তখন আমার আগ্রহ বাড়তেই লাগলো।  আমার মনে হলো আমি এখানকার সবার সাথে SALT শেষ না করে যাবো না। এখানে প্রত্যেকটা পরিবারে আছে শরীর শীতল হয়ে যাওয়ার মতো কিছু গল্প। প্রথম যার সাথে SALT করলাম, তার বাবা সুন্দরবনে মধু সংগ্রহ করতে গিয়ে বাঘের শিকারে পরিণত হয়। তারপর যার সাথে SALT করলাম ওনারা জঙ্গলের নদীতে মাছ ধরতে গিয়ে  সঙ্গিকে বাঘের শিকার হতে হয়, উনি সঙ্গীকে বাচাতে গিয়ে আহত হন। কারো বাবা বাড়িতে শুয়ে থাকা অবস্থায় পানিতে বসবাসকারী সুন্দরবনের সবচেয়ে বিষাক্ত  কেরানি সাপের কামড়ে মারা যায়। এখানে সুন্দরবন থেকে প্রত্যেকে পাঁচ কেজি করে জ্বালানি কাঠ নিয়ে আসার পাস পায় ফরেস্ট অফিসার এর নিকট থেকে। সেই পাঁচ কেজি জ্বালানি কাঠ সংগ্রহ করতে গিয়ে যে কত মানুষের বাঘের শিকার হতে হয়েছে তার কোনো হিসাব নেই। এখানে শুধু মাত্র রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগার নয়।
আরও একজন জঙ্গল পাহারাদার আছে। জঙ্গলের দেবী বনবিবির বাহন শাহ জঙ্গলি । জঙ্গলে গিয়ে যারা মারা যায় তাদের কিছু লোকের মাথার নিচে গলার পিছনে, ঘাড়ে দুটো দাঁত এর চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায়। এখান কার লোকজন মনে করে তারা সবাই শাহ জঙ্গলির শিকার হয়েছে। শুধু তাই নয়! জঙ্গলের নদীতে প্রচুর মাছ থাকে। সেজন্য জেলেরা জঙ্গলের ভেতর নদীতে মাছ ধরতে যায়। মাছ ধরার সময় অনেক সময় জাল আটকে যায় পানিতে পড়ে গিয়ে ভেসে আসা গাছের সাথে। সেই জাল ছাড়াতে প্রায়ই জেলেদের কুমিরের খাদ্য হতে হয়।  কুমির তো আস্ত মানুষ খেয়ে পারে না।  খন্ড দেহ বাড়িতে আনতে হয় সঙ্গী দের। সেই খন্ড দেহ দেখে তার আপনজনদের আহাজারিতে শ্মশান পর্যন্ত কাঁপতে থাকে। এখানেই শেষ নয়, জেলেদের জাল ভর্তি মাছ যখন টেনে তোলে নৌকায়। তখন ঐ মাছের সাথে উঠে আসে সুন্দরবনের সবচেয়ে বিষাক্ত সাপ "কেরানি" । জালের ভেতর হাত দিয়ে মাছ ধরার সময় মরনছোবল মারে কেরানি।
কেরানীর কামড় খেয়ে  আজ পর্যন্ত কেউ বাঁচতে পারে নি।
কয়েকটি সল্ট করে যা জানতে পারলাম তাই আপনাদের নিকট শেয়ার করলাম।  সল্ট পর্ব চলাকালীন সময়ে  সুন্দরবনের ভেতরের বাস্তব ছবি ভিডিও তুলে ধরবো আপনাদের সামনে। যদি আপনারা সাহস আর আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেন তাহলে।
<span;>People eat Sundarbans

Biking through thick fog and bitter cold when I reached Nawabeki Bazar on the banks of Gantidar river in Shyamnagar police station of Satkhira district. Then I felt like I arrived in another state. There is no winter here.It seems that spring has arrived. When I went to the Burigoalini community from the Dhara hospital quarter, I saw the smiling faces of the people there and felt like everyone was my own. Then when I started SALT, my interest started to grow. I feel like I'm not going to finish SALT with everyone here. Every family has a chilling story. The first person I did SALT with, his father was hunted by a tiger while collecting honey in the Sundarbans.Then the one with whom I did SALT while fishing in the river of the jungle, the partner had to be hunted by a tiger, he was injured while saving the partner. Someone's father died after being bitten by the water-dwelling Sundarbans' most venomous "Kerani" snake while he was sleeping at home.
Here everyone gets a pass from the forest officer to bring five kg of firewood from the Sundarbans. There is no account of how many people have to be hunted by tigers while collecting that five kg of firewood. It's not just the Royal Bengal Tigers here. There is another forest guard. Shah Jangli is the vehicle of Ban Bibi, the goddess of the forest. Some of those who die in the forest have two teeth marks on the back of the neck, under the head, and on the neck. Who people here think they are all victims of Shah Jangli. Not only that! Forest rivers are full of fish. That is why the fishermen go to fish in the river in the forest. During fishing, many times the net gets stuck with the fallen trees in the water. Fishermen often have to feed the crocodiles to remove the nets. Crocodiles cannot eat whole people. The companions had to bring the body home.Seeing that body, his relatives trembled till the crematorium. It does not end here, when the fishermen drag the net full of fish to the boat. Then the most poisonous snake of Sundarbans "Kerani" came up with that fish. Kerani dies while fishing with hand in net.Till date no one has survived the bite of the Kerani.
