 Vidya is an ordinary mother with two kids. She joined HealthRise as SALT facilitator very recently in 2019. Initially, Vidya was hesitant to work in the project. This is Nirmala. She is just fifteen years old. She is a school drop out and managed to go to middle school because her village has school upto 8th standard only. In Uaipur, we visited Anganwadi Centre in Upla Chotiya village. When we went there, SALT meeting was going on and some 12-15 villagers from the age group 12-70 years were present at the centre.
