The dream of Lalmattie
Young women combining the two group dreams into the vision statement.
The group of women of Lalmattie wanted to buid their dream. Since the first SALT visit there was enthusiasm and determination for working and accomplishing together. The women agreed to mobilize the inclusion of all members to more engage with SALT and they did, so that they could do the dream building exercise together. With support of everyone the dream is:
“We dream of happy families which respect and love each other, living in a peaceful environment, including recreation and our religious beliefs resulting in people realizing their full potential.”
A very encouraging aspect was the involvement and participation of the young among them
During the reflection, the responses were:
“Doing the dream offered some comfort that I can live it and be happy.”
“Liked how we worked together…..we could do same in our community.”
“The dream offers hope that we can live in harmony and this is a big moment.”
“I like how we moved from concerns and hope, to now having a dream….we need to work towards realizing the dream.”

Jeunes femmes combinant les rêves des deux groupes dans l'énoncé de la vision des femmes de Lalmattie.
Le groupe de femmes de Lalmattie voulait construire son rêve. Depuis la première visite SALT, l'enthousiasme et la détermination de ce groupe à travailler et à avancer ensemble étaient palpables. Les femmes se sont mobilisées pour inclure tous les membres et les encourager à s'engager plus en utilisant SALT pour construire leur rêve ensemble. Établi avec le concours de tout le monde, le rêve est :
« Nous rêvons de familles heureuses dont les membres se respectent et s’aiment, de vivre dans un environnement paisible, avec des loisirs et nos croyances religieuses, de sorte que les personnes réalisent leur plein potentiel. »
Un aspect très encourageant de l’événement a été l'implication et la participation des jeunes.
Voici quelques éléments de la réflexion :
« Faire le rêve m’a donné quelque peu l’espoir que je puisse le vivre et être heureuse. »
« J’ai aimé la façon dont nous avons travaillé ensemble... Nous pourrions faire de même dans notre communauté. »
« Le rêve donne de l'espoir que nous puissions vivre en harmonie et c’est un grand moment. »
« J'aime la manière dont nous sommes passées de partager nos inquiétudes et nos espoirs, à avoir maintenant un rêve commun... nous devons travailler à la réalisation du rêve. »
