Connecting local responses around the world
Dear all,
Marlou and I are writing a proposal for the city of Amsterdam where we intend to do home visits in a newly built neighborhood. The home visits will be the first step towards building informal networks of neighbors. The city of Amsterdam cares about inclusion of newcomers, the refugees that were granted a permission to stay (at least 5 years) and are now making home.
I'm curious to hear about your experiences with home visits. What works well? What are the lessons learned in your context?
Thank you for sharing your insights.
kindly, Birgitta

Additionally, SALT home visits are very effective if you want one to one conversation on sensitive issues. But they have to be planned very carefully...how many homes to visit, when to visit, who goes to visit, at what time, who will be available etc
