There is a youth team in Chorbin Para. The name of that youth team is Jagoran. Most of the members are girls. There were three to four boys in that team. They were very shy, and they were always unavailable. They did not want to sit together with girls. They considered themselves more capable than girls. When Dream Building was done with Jagoran team, they had a dream. That dream was that they wanted to increase the number of boys in their team. When Masculinity SALT was done with the boys of Chorbin Para community, many misconceptions were removed from them. They started understanding that when boys and girls work together, the work becomes much easier. And after that, the shyness slowly started to disappear from them. They started giving more respect and importance to girls than before. They started knowing about the problems and difficulties of girls. Then the boys realized one thing that if the same treatment was given to boys in the society, how difficult their lives would have become.  After realizing these various things, they decided that they would create a society where boys and girls would live together, without any discrimination. And they have started taking small steps to realize this dream. For example, the number of boys in the youth team has increased. In any meeting of the youth team, more boys are found than before. And the biggest example is when the knowledge transfer between the two communities is organized. At that event, the boys themselves  made a proposal. That is, they will do all the activities of this event, from fetching water to cooking. Which were always done by the girls before.  And accordingly they do all the work themselves, and give the girls a break from their work so that they can enjoy. And accordingly the girls did not have to do any work. And they were able to enjoy the whole time. When the girls were asked about their feelings on this matter, they said, it would be much better if the boys helped the girls in all the activities. And the boys said that they will work for the rights of girls and the elimination of discrimination between boys in their families and communities.

নারী পুরুষ বৈষম্য দূর হবে আমাদের চেষ্টায়।

 চরবিন পারায় একটি ইয়ুথ টিম আছে। সেই ইয়ুথ টিম এর নাম জাগরন। সেখানে বেশিরভাগ সদস্যই মেয়ে। সেই টিমে তিন থেকে চার জন ছেলে ছিলো। তারা ছিলো খুবই লাজুক, এবং তাদেরকে সবসময় পাওয়া যেতো না। তারা মেয়েদের সাথে একসাথে বসতে চাইতো না। তারা নিজেদেরকে মেয়েদের থেকে বেশি কর্মক্ষম বলে মনে করতো। জাগরন টিমের সাথে যখন ড্রিম বিল্ডিং করা হয়া তখন তাদের একটি স্বপ্ন ছিলো। সেই স্বপ্ন হলো তারা তাদের টিমে ছেলেদের সংখ্যা বড়াতে চায়। চরবিন পারা কমিউনিটির ছেলেদের সাথে যখন মাসকুলারিটি SALT করা হয় তখন তাদের মধ্যে থেকে অনেক ভুল ধারনা দুর হয়ে যায়। তারা বুঝতে শুরু করে যে ছেলে মেয়ে মিলে কাজ করলে কাজ অনেক সহজ হয়ে যায়। এবং এর পর আস্তে আস্তে তাদের ভেতর থেকে লজ্জা দুর হয়ে যেতে শুরু করে। তারা মেয়েদের আগের চেয়ে বেশি সম্মান এবং গুরুত্ব দেওয়া শুরু করে। তারা মেয়েদের সমস্যা এবং অসুবিধার ব্যপারে জানতে শুরু করে। তখন ছেলেরা একটা বিষয় বুঝতে পারে যে, সমাজে মেয়েদের সাথে যেই আচরণ করা হয়, সেই আচরণ যদি ছেলেদের সাথে করা হতো তাহলে তাদের জীবন কতোটা কঠিন হয়ে উঠতো। এসব নানা বিষয় উপলব্ধি করার পর তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় যে তারা এমন একটি সমাজ গঠন করবে যেখানে ছেলে মেয়ে একসাথে মিলে বসবাস করবে, কোন প্রকার বৈষম্য ছারা। এবং এই স্বপ্ন বাস্তবায়ন করার জন্য তারা ছোট ছোট পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া শুরু করে দিয়েছে। উদাহরণ হিসেবে দেখাযায়, ইয়ুথ টিমে ছেলেদের সংখ্যা বেড়েছে। ইয়ুথ টিমের কোন মিটিং এ আগের চেয়ে ছেলেদেরকে বেশি পাওয়া যায়। এবং সবচেয়ে বড় উদাহরণ হলো, যখন দুই কমিউনিটির নলেজ ট্রন্সফার এর আয়োজন করা হয়। তখন সেই অনুষ্ঠানে ছেলেরা নিজে থেকে একটা প্রস্তাব রাখে। সেটা হলো, এই অনুষ্ঠানের সকল কাজকর্ম, পানি নিয়ে আসা থেকে শুরু করে রান্না পর্যন্ত তারা করবে। যেগুলো আগে সবসময় মেয়েরা করতো। এবং সেই অনুযায়ী তারা সকল কাজ নিজেরা করে, এবং মেয়েদের কাজ থেকে বিরতি দেয় যাতে তারা এনজয় করতে পারে। এবং সেই অনুযায়ী মেয়েদের কোন কাজ করতে হয়নি। এবং তারা পুরো সময় এনজয় করতে পেরেছে। এই ব্যপারে যখন মেয়েদের অনুভূতি জিজ্ঞেস করা হলো তখন তারা বললো, এভাবে যদি সব কাজে ছেলেরা মেয়েদের সাহায্য করতো তাহলে অনেক ভালো হতো। এবং ছেলেরা বললো তারা তাদের পরিবার এবং কমিউনিটিতে মেয়েদের অধিকার এবং ছেলেমেয়ে বৈষম্য দুর করতে কাজ করবে।
