Children’s journey from cleanliness to prosperity

Contribution to the Change: Inspired by the ARC project, the children envisioned a dream centered on the theme of village cleanliness. They aspired to transform their village into a clean and beautiful place. In pursuit of this dream, the children went door-to-door throughout the village to raise public awareness. They also submitted a formal memorandum regarding waste management to the Nandval Gram Panchayat. Furthermore, under the initiative "Clean School, Beautiful School," the children have established a system to collect plastic waste—both from their homes and the school premises—at the school site, operating from Monday through Saturday. The children are now actively collecting plastic waste on their own initiative.

Result: The children have successfully demonstrated this exemplary model to the citizens of the village. They have also come to fully understand the significance of cleanliness. Plastic collection activities are currently underway at the school.

Significance of the Change:
This specific change focuses on improving cleanliness within the village. Moreover, having grasped the importance of hygiene, the local children are now actively engaged in activities aimed at keeping the village clean. The significance of these efforts has also been recognized by the adult residents of the village, who are now stepping forward to participate in cleanliness drives as well.
