Today, I spoke to Venkatesh Patil and Sambhav Rumale, students from Nandwal village. Both of them are currently studying in 7th standard. During the discussion, we discussed his daily life, school. I facilitated a SALT session with 80 children in Village Nandwal. Out of them, 20 children came together to dream about their village. Cleanliness emerged as their strongest concern. Sixteen children (7 boys and 9 girls) decided to take action.

In 2019, we started the Gender Equality project in schools and slum areas in Kolhapur. We decided to work on the issue of gender equality after consultation with Gov, We received Gender Equality training from ECF. Then we started working with children in school. We at Avani NGO are working on gender equality.
Recently, I had individual SALT conversations with three people from Village Nandwal, Kolhapur (India). Two were farmers, one male and one female and one is a clerk at the local university.
