Knowledge Festival :My Reflection

On 24/04/26, our organization organized its first ever 

"Knowledge Festival"  in Narayanganj

Rishipara Harijan Community. This was a true community led initiative, where the most inspiring thing was—the children themselves managed the entire event on their own. From logistics to where to get the food, the Adolescence boys and girls decided everything. They decided how to decorate the Knowledge Fair, what to decorate it with. They did everything themselves, from making kites, cleaning the floor, making different kinds of things out of paper. Along with the Adolescences, the people of the community cooperated in various tasks. 

 First, Aruna Didi highlighted the changes of the Mothers' Group, how they themselves admitted their children to the Paikpara Government Boys and Girls School. After shifting from Tanbazar to Rishipara, they did not know that there was a primary school here. Which they came to know through the group SOLT. Then, they were afraid about the caste, whether they would admit Harijan children here or not. They went to the school and admitted them by talking. Birth registration is required for admission, which the mothers did not have. They also worked on this.

Then, Rupali shared her changes, how she has succeeded in her life through her own efforts through SOLT. Rupali has learned to make key rings and bracelets from beads and has now taken the initiative to teach others.

Pinki Didi could not study due to family financial problems, now she has started studying at home, her son Pranab is supporting her.

 The initiatives that Adolesions take with the Bengali language and the changes that come as a result are presented through drama by the Adolesions girls. In addition to sharing their own changes, the people of the Harijan community have learned a lot and been inspired by the changes that they have seen from our cohorts, Grow Your Reader, Bread, and Ashirbad organizations.

"জ্ঞান উৎসব মেলা" নারায়ণগঞ্জ

 ঋষিপাড়া হরিজন কমিউনিটিতে আয়োজন করা হয়।এটি একটি সত্যিকারের কমিউনিটি লেড ইনিশিয়েটিভ, যেখানে সবচেয়ে অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বিষয় ছিল—শিশুরাই নিজেদের দায়িত্বে পুরো আয়োজন পরিচালনা করেছে। লজিস্টিক থেকে শুরু করে খাবার কোথায় থেকে নিতে হবে সব কিছু এডোলেশনস ছেলে মেয়েরা ঠিক করে।তারা নলেজ ফেয়ারে কিভাবে সাজাবে,কি দিয়ে সাজাবে সব কিছু তারাই ঠিক করে।ঘুড়ি বানানো থেকে শুরু করা, ফ্লোর পরিষ্কার করা,কাগজ দিয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের জিনিস বানানো তারা নিজেরাই করে।এডোলেশনস দের পাশাপাশি কমিউনিটির মানুষগুলো বিভিন্ন কাজে সহযোগিতা করেছে। 

প্রথমে অরুণা দিদি মাদার্স গ্রুপের চেঞ্জ গুলো তুলে ধরে, কিভাবে তারা নিজে শিশুদের পাইকপাড়া সরকারি বালক বালিকা স্কুলে ভর্তি করে।টানবাজার থেকে ঋষিপাড়ায় শিফ্ট হওয়ার পর তারা জানতোই না এখানে প্রাইমারি স্কুল আছে।যেটা তারা গ্রুপ সোল্ট এর মাধ্যমে জানতে পারে।এরপর কাষ্ট নিয়ে তারা ভয়ে ছিলো এখানে হরিজনের শিশুদের ভর্তি নিবে কি না।তারা স্কুলে যায় কথা বলে ভর্তি করে।ভর্তি করতে জন্ম নিবন্ধন লাগে যা মায়েদের কাছে ছিলো না।তারা এটা নিয়েও কাজ করে।

এরপর রুপালী নিজের চেঞ্জ গুলো শেয়ার করে কিভাবে সোল্টের মাধ্যমে নিজের চেষ্টায় নিজের জীবনে সাবলম্বী হয়েছে।রুপালী পুতি দিয়ে চাবির রিং,হাতের চুড়ি, বানানো শিখেছে আর এখন অন্যকে শিখানোর উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে।

পিংকি দিদি পারিবারিক আর্থিক সমস্যা থাকায় লেখাপড়া করতে পারে নাই, এখন তিনি বাড়িতে লেখাপড়া শুরু করেছে তার ছেলে প্রণব তাকে সহযোগিতা করছে।

বাংলা ভাষা নিয়ে এডোলেশনসরা যে উদ্যোগ নেয় এবং তার ফলে যে চেঞ্জ আসে এডোলেশনস মেয়েরা সেটা নাটকের মাধ্যমে পরিবেশন করে।

নিজেদের পরিবর্তন শেয়ারের পাশাপাশি তারা আমাদের কোহোর্ট থেকে আসা গ্রো ইউর রিডার,ব্রেড,আশির্বাদ আর্গানাইজেশন এর চেঞ্জ গুলো শুনে হরিজন কমিউনিটির মানুষেরা অনেক কিছু শিখতে পারেছে এবং অনুপ্রাণিত হয়।
