On a beautiful Monday morning, 13th April 2026, the Aarandada community slowly came alive with the sound of young voices gathering together. The session was held inside the community hall, a space surrounded by walls filled with homely vibes, where familiar faces, shared memories, and a sense of belonging could be felt in every corner. The weather outside was pleasant, and inside the hall, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming as youth arrived one by one some with shy smiles, others with curious eyes excited to be part of the Group SALT conversation planned for the day.As the facilitators welcomed the youth, they were invited to sit together in circles. It was not just a circle of chairs, but a circle of trust, where everyone had a place and every voice mattered. The purpose of the gathering was simple to listen, to share, and to learn from one another. Each young person came carrying their own experiences, thoughts, and stories, ready to put forward their voices.
As the Group SALT session began, the facilitators gently encouraged the youth to share their proud moments and joyful experiences. At first, a few sat quietly, listening and observing. There was a sense of hesitation in the air. But slowly, as one voice spoke, another found courage. One story opened the door for another, and soon the circle began to fill with stories of small achievements, happy memories, and moments that made them feel proud of themselves and their community. Some youth spoke about helping their families in daily work, while others shared their hopes and dreams for the future. There were smiles that spread across faces, laughter that filled the hall, and moments of deep listening where every word mattered. The facilitators guided the conversation gently, making sure that each voice was heard and respected. The atmosphere became lively and full of positive energy as the youth connected with one another through their shared stories.
What made this morning truly special in the Aarandada community was the strong bond that began to form among the youth. They started to realize that they were not alone in their journeys, and that each person carried strengths worth celebrating. The Group SALT conversation created a safe and friendly space where they could express themselves freely and appreciate one another’s strengths. By the end of the session, the circle felt stronger, warmer, and more connected than before. The youth left with smiles on their faces, carrying with them a sense of pride and belonging. It was not just a meeting it was a meaningful morning in Aarandada, where young people came together, shared their voices, stories and began buildin connections that will continue to grow ahead.
As a facilitator, what I truly felt in that moment was something very deep and personal. Watching the youth share their thoughts so freely made me feel that I never want to stop dreaming. They reminded me of free birds living like the wind, fearless and full of life. Each of them came forward with love, emotions, and so much courage to do something meaningful for their community.
Their honesty and hope touched my heart in ways that are hard to explain. In that moment, I felt a strong desire to live like them, to dream like them, and to carry that same energy and fullness of life within me. They did not just share their stories they inspired me. They reminded me that dreams are alive, courage is powerful, and life is most beautiful when lived with purpose and hope.
