We had a very pleasant and thrilling experience within the community. During our ARC with the community with whom we are implementing the CLCP model, we discovered that their religious beliefs had changed. However, due to fear of social ostracism, the community keeps their new religious symbols and prayers hidden, and feels uncomfortable sharing or revealing them with other communities. It was understandable that including someone in their new rituals would be very difficult for them. During SALT with various community groups (children, youth, women, men, and Panchayat leaders), we took full care of this community's privacy. Simply by encouraging them to value their own lives and their own potential, the happy result was that for the first time, they enthusiastically invited our team to participate in their religious celebration, which was the first invitation anyone from another community had received in the community. (It's worth noting that due to social fears, they celebrate their celebrations on the day after the scheduled time to avoid disruption from antisocial elements.) Our team also expressed concern about any opposition from the community council. However, they not only invited them, but also transformed the momentary negative reaction from the community into a cordial atmosphere, allaying the team's doubts. The community members who had been resistant, seeing the enthusiasm and joy of their children and youth, became silent spectators and gave tacit consent. The children and youth celebrated heartily and allowed the organization's members to join in the celebrations with a cake on the main stage. The responsibility of accepting or opposing any conservative tradition rests solely on the shoulders of the youth. The courage these young people have shown in accepting themselves shows that they are recognizing their potential, where every life and every thought is important, and everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This was a feeling of surprise and happiness and a matter of pride for the organization as well.

Thank you for appreciation. They get this courage Just by believing in yourself. During the SALT we discuss about their concern related community, in which We try to direct their attention to the ARC by asking them why as much as possible. Once we get the right question, we start looking for the right answer. This way, we understand that it's important to believe in ourselves and our decisions. Once we understand this, we get results.
This is a wonderful thing. Congratulations, Ashish ji...! This is the beginning of a new change in the new year. How did they get this courage? What do you think?
During SALT, making young people realize their strengths and expressing that we've learned from them gives them confidence in their decisions and the courage to move forward with them. I think this is the result of the community's youth believing that if the decisions they've made are right for them, then why hide or be afraid?so these little( but in future context very strong) change occured
Hi Ashish, this is wonderful. why do you think this change occurred?
