“Learning, Connection, and the Path of Dreams: A SALT Learning Visit in Mymensingh”

গত বৃহস্পতিবার ১৮ ডিসেম্বর আমরা আলোকিত করি টিম ও নারায়ণগঞ্জ ঋষিপাড়া কমিউনিটি থেকে এডোলেশনস গার্লস গ্রুপের শ্রেয়া,প্রতিঞ্জা, এডোলেশনস বয়েজ গ্রুপের রুপতনু আর মাদার্স গ্রুপ থেকে পিংকি দিদি ও সত্যবতী দিদিকে নিয়ে SALT and CLCP approach এর Learning visit করতে ময়মনসিংহ গিয়েছিলাম।

আমরা প্রথমে আশির্বাদের বোর্ড মেম্বার দের সাথে পরিচিত হই গল্প করি।তাদের একতা সম্পর্কে জানতে ও শিখতে পারি। তারা ভিন্ন ভিন্ন কাষ্টের আছে তবুও তাদের মাঝে প্রেম ও ভালোবাসার সম্পর্ক।কেউ কাউকে দেখে ঘৃণা করে না ছোট মনে করে না,বরং একে ওপরের সাথে মিলেমিশে থাকে, একে ওপরকে এবং কমিউনিটি নিয়ে তারা সর্বদা উন্নতির চিন্তা করে যা সত্যি প্রশংসনীয়।

এরপর হরিজন পল্লী কমিউনিটির আলোর পথ ও স্বপ্নের সিঁড়ি গ্রুপের পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতার কাজ,

ব্যবহার করে ফেলে দেয়া বোতল দিয়ে বানানো গাছের টপ(রি সাইকেলিং),তাদের ক্লে দিয়ে বানানো স্বপ্নের স্কুল সব কিছুই ছিলো শিক্ষনীয়।

পরের দিন সকাল ৭:৩০ টায় আমরা চলে যাই বাজারে যেখানে চরবীন এলাকার মহিলারা ফুল,শাক-সবজি,দুধ বিক্রি করে।তারা প্রতিদিন সকালে মাথায় শাক-সবজি নিয়ে চর দিয়ে হেটে নৌকা পার করে বাজারে যায় বিক্রি করতে।আর দুপুরে হেটে রৌদ্রের মধ্যে একই ভাবে বাড়িতে ফিরে।

 চরবীন পাড়া জাগরণ ইয়ুথ টিমের কাজ,তাদের সাহসীকতা দেখে শুধু আমার নয় কমিউনিটির যারা গিয়েছে তাদেরও শক্তি জোগায়।যেভাবে ইয়ুথ টিম বাল্য বিবাহ বন্ধ করার,জুয়া খেলা বন্ধ করা,মোবাইল আসক্তি রোধ করা নিয়ে কাজ করছে।

সম্পর্কের সৃষ্টি : 

সেখানের প্রতিটা মূহুর্ত যেভাবে ছিলো শিক্ষনীয় ঠিক তেমনি ছিলো আনন্দ।যেভাবে আশির্বাদ টিম ও আলোকিত করি টিমের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক গভীর হয় তেমনি কমিউনিটি টু কমিউনিটির মধ্যে সম্পর্ক বাড়ে।তাদের মধ্যে যেভাবে রিলেশন বিল্ডাপ হয়েছে ঠিক সেভাবে তারা একে ওপরের সাথে নিজেদের গল্প শেয়ার করেছে,একে ওপরের মোবাইল নাম্বার নিয়েছে।

আমার শিক্ষনীয় :

একজন ফ্যাসিলিটেটর হিসেবে আমার কাছে পূরোটা জার্নি ছিল শিক্ষনীয়।শান্তি দিদি যেভাবে নিজের লিডারশীপ পালন করছে।তাছাড়া SALT কে নিজের করে নিয়েছে বিধায় পঞ্চায়েতের মানুষদের সাথে SALTকরে তাদের সাথে মিলে কাজ করছে।আশির্বাদ টিমের বোন্ডিং,কমিউনিটির এঙ্গেজমেন্ট, বোর্ড মেম্বারদেরসাথে একতা।

Last Thursday, December 18, we went to Mymensingh to do a learning visit on SALT and CLCP approach with the Adolescence Girls Group's Shreya and Pratinja from the Adolescence Boys Group, Ruptanu from the Adolescence Boys Group, and Pinki Didi and Satyawati Didi from the Mothers Group.

We first got to know the board members of Ashirbad and talked to them. We got to know and learn about their unity. They have different castes, yet they have a relationship of love and affection. No one hates anyone or thinks they are small, but rather they live together with each other, they always think of improvement for each other and the community, which is truly commendable.

Then the cleaning work of the Harijan Palli Community's Light Path and Dream Stairs Group,

the tree top made from used bottles (recycling), their dream school made from clay, everything was educational.

 The next day at 7:30 am we went to the market where the women of Charbeen area sell flowers, vegetables, and milk. Every morning they carry vegetables on their heads and walk across the river to the market to sell. And in the afternoon they walk back home in the sun the same way.

The work of the Charbeen Para Jagran Youth Team, seeing their courage, not only gives me strength but also gives strength to those in the community who have gone. Just as the youth team is working to stop child marriage, stop gambling, and prevent mobile addiction.

Relationship building: 

Every moment there was educational as well as joyful. Just as the relationship between the Ashirbad team and the Alokit Kari team deepens, the relationship between the community and the community grows. Just as the relationship between them has built up, they have shared their stories with each other, taking each other's mobile numbers.

 My learnings:

As a facilitator, the entire journey has been a learning experience for me. The way Shanti Didi is exercising her leadership. Moreover, she has taken SALT as her own and is working with the people of the panchayat through SALT. The bonding of the Ashirbad team, the engagement of the community, the unity with the board members are all wonderful.
