Banna contacts Deepa at the Women's Department and gets her admitted to the sewing training. From there, she successfully completes the sewing training. After completing it well and passing the exam, Deepa gets a sewing machine from the Women's Department. Deepa's dream is now on the way to realization. Deepa wanted to do something to become self-reliant and stand by her husband. Today, Deepa has that dream in her hands by getting a sewing machine. Deepa earns 5/6 thousand taka every month by sewing clothes. She saves 300 taka every month. She uses the rest of the money for the necessary work of her family. The strength that Banna saw in Deepa was proven through work today. As a result of SALT Conversion, a woman has been financially empowered. Her value in the family has increased. Deepa has become an example to other girls. This is how equality will be. Finally, I would like to say one thing. Just as financial development is necessary for women's empowerment, indomitable willpower can help a woman achieve her dream. Therefore, it is necessary to do SALT Conversion from the heart. গত 8ই মার্চ 2025 হয়ে গেল বিশ্ব নারীদিবস। এই নারী দিবসে নারীরা তাদের অধিকার সমতা নারীর প্রতি বৈষম্য, ক্ষমতায়ন নিয়ে আলোচনা করে থাকেন। নারী দিবসে নারীরাই আলোচনা করে। যদি নারীদের উন্নয়ন ও ক্ষমতায়ন হয়ে থাকে তবে নারীদের নিজেদের কেন আলোচনা করতে হবে। তাদের উন্নয়নে ও ক্ষমতায়নে কেন পুরুষেরা আলোচনা করবে না। এতে বুঝা যায় নারীদের এখনও ক্ষমতায়ন হয়নি। এই চিৎকার টি একটি বিশেষ দিবস কে কেন্দ্র করে কেন? আমরা নারীরা যদি সারা বছর এটা নিয়ে চিন্তা করি, কাজ করি তবে একটি বিশেষ দিবস পালন করে নিজেদের পক্ষে কথা বলতে হবে না। এবার বলি ক্ষমতায়ন। ক্ষমতায়নকে মানুষ বিভিন্নভাবে বিশ্লেষন করে থাকে। তবে আমি মনে করি একজন নারীর তখন ক্ষমতায়ন হয় যখন সে আর্থিকভাবে স্বাবলম্বী হয়। তখন তার পরিবারে, সমাজে মূল‍্যায়ন করা হয়। আর্থিকভাবে ক্ষমতাবান নারীর সমতা বৃদ্ধি হয়। তাদের আত্মবিশ্বাস এর জায়গায় একটা শক্তি তৈরী হয়। তারা নিজেদেরও মূল‍্যায়ন করতে শিখে যায়। সমাজে শিক্ষিত মেয়েদের জন‍্য এই প্রন্থা সহজ হলেও সমাজে অল্প শিক্ষিত, পিছিয়ে পড়া নারীদের ক্ষমতায়নটা এত সহজ নয়। তারা মানসিক ভাবে হীনমন্যতায় ভোগে। পরিবার ও সমাজ তাদের কৃতদাস বানিয়ে রাখে। তবে নারীকে শক্তির প্রতিক বলা হয়। নারীর ভিতর সেই ধৈর্য ও শক্তি আছে যা দিয়ে সে অনেক অসম্ভব কাজকে সম্ভব করতে পারে। তার জন‍্য দরকার হয় একটু ভালোবাসা, উৎসাহ আর প্রশংসা। যেটা পেলে একজন নারী হয়ে যেতে পারে অন‍ন‍্যা।প্রশংসা ও উৎসাহ দেয়ার একটা যাদুর কাঠি আছে সেটা হলো সল্ট কনভারশেশন। সল্ট কথোপকথনের আমার কাছে ভালোবাসার একটি যাদুর কাঠি। যা দিয়ে স্পর্শ করলে মানুষ তার হৃদয় খোলে কথা বলে। এক মানুষ অন‍্য মানুষের এমন পবিত্র প্রেমের বন্ধন সৃষ্টি হয়, শুধুমাত্র কথোপকথনের মাধ‍্যমে তারা প্রশংসা করতে পারে শিখতে পারে শিখাতে পারে সুন্দর একটি টিম হতে পারে। যা অন‍্য কোনভাবেই সম্ভব নয়। আচ্ছা বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না তো? তাহলে একজন নারীর গল্প বলি শুনুন। সেই নারীর নাম দিপা। বয়স 23 বছর। বিবাহিত। একটি 2 বছরের ছেলে আছে। দিপার স্বামী একটি কম্পানিতে চাকরি করে। বেতন খুব বেশী না। টানাপোড়েনের মধ‍্যে জীবন চলছিল। দিপার মনের ভিতর সুন্দর একটি স্বপ্ন ছিল। শক্তি ও অদম্য সাহস ছিল। তবে তার হৃদয়ের কথা শুনবার কেউ ছিলো না। রবীন্দ্রনাথের একটি গান মনে পড়ে গেলো। আমি হৃদয়ের কথা বলিতে ব‍্যকুল শুধাইলো না কেহ। তবে আর্শিবাদ সংস্থার ফেসিলেটর বন‍্যা বাসফোর দিপার কাছে যায় সল্ট কনভারশেশন করার জন‍্য। দিপা তার হৃদয়ের জমানো সমস্ত কথা বলে। তার স্বপ্নের কথা বলে। বন‍‍্যা তাকে এত উৎসাহ দেয় যে দিপার মনে হয় তার স্বপ্ন পূরণ হতে কেউ রুখতে পারবে না। তখন বন্নার সাথে দিপার সুসম্পর্ক তৈরী হয়। যেমন একটা টিম। বন্না দিপাকে মহিলা অধিদপ্তরে যোগাযোগ করে সেলাই প্রশিক্ষণে ভর্ত্তি করিয়ে দেয়। সেখান থেকে সে সুন্দরভাবে সেলাই প্রশিক্ষণ সমাপ্ত করে। ভালোভাবে সমাপ্ত করে পরীক্ষায় উর্ত্তিণ হওয়ার কারণে মহিলা অধিদপ্তর থেকে দিপা একটি সেলাই মেশিন পায়। দিপার স্বপ্ন এখন বাস্তবায়নের পথে। দিপা চেয়েছিল কিছু করে স্বাবলম্বী হয়ে তার স্বামীর পাশে দাড়ানোর। আজ যেন সেলাই মেশিন পেয়ে দিপা সেই স্বপ্ন হাতের মুঠোয়। দিপা কাপড় সেলাই করে প্রতিমাসে 5/6 হাজার টাকা ইনকাম করছে। 300 টাকা সে প্রতিমাসে সঞ্চয় করছে। বাকী টাকা সে তার পরিবারে প্রয়োজনীয় কাজে ব‍্যবহার করছে। বন্না দিপার ভিতর যে শক্তি দেখতে পেয়েছিল তা আজ কাজের মাধ্যমে প্রমানিত হলো। সল্ট কনভারশেশন এর ফলে একজন নারী আর্থিকভাবে ক্ষমতায়ন হয়েছে। পরিবারে তার মূল‍্যায়ন বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। দিপা অন‍্য মেয়েদের কাছে দৃষ্টান্ত হয়েছে। এভাবেই তো সমতা ও হবে। শেষে একটি কথা বলতে চাই। নারীর ক্ষমতায়নের জন‍্য যেমন আর্থিকভাবে উন্নয়ন প্রয়োজন। তেমন অদম্য ইচ্ছা শক্তি একজন নারীকে তার স্বপ্ন পূরণের লক্ষে পৌঁছে দিতে পারে। তাই দরকার হৃদয় থেকে সল্ট কনভারশেশ করা। তাকে উৎসাহ দেয়া। প্রশংসা করা। যেমন আমরা আয়না দেখলে নিজেকে দেখি। তেমনি সল্ট কনভারশেশন করলে এমন ভাবে করতে হবে যেন মনে হয় আমার নিজের আরেকটি আত্মা। অনুভূতি হবে পবিত্র প্রেমের। যা স্বর্গীয়। ঈশ্বরের দেয়া।

Government officials thought that if Harijan women came to their offices and got trained, their office environment would be ruined. How are we encouraging them through SALT conversations with women? We are changing their attitude. SALT conversations also affect government officials. So he gave Harijan women the opportunity to get trained. Thank you Ritu for asking a good question. As a result of SALT conversation, firstly women have been encouraged to take up other professions. Their attitude has changed that they can also do something other than a clean profession. Second, they successfully completed their training in government offices. Government officials gave them the opportunity to take training because it was made clear to them that Arshirbad Organization works with Dalit Harijans through SALT and CLCP.
