Takeaway from our first session
First, upon stepping into a group or community, we become integral parts of the system. As SALT facilitators, we cannot be neutral or detached. Instead, we must embrace our own biases and assumptions while remaining fully present to deeply listen to others.
Second, our role is not to impose preconceived outcomes, but rather to facilitate conversations that foster genuine connection. Onaiza beautifully expressed the feeling of oneness during an authentic conversation.
Facilitators are in the game, choreographing without a script, navigating the dance with the participants. This journey as co-travellers guides us towards deep connection and collective growth.
