I am Adila working as an associate at Grow Your Reader Foundation. A few days ago, I learned about something called a SALT Conversation from my colleagues - Sadia, Mariam, Mihsan and Razin. I decided to try it out. I had a one-on-one SALT Conversation with them, and later we had one as a team at work. Reflecting on it now, my feelings are in a bit of a rush.
After my individual SALT session:
* I felt lighter. It was good to share my story and have others listen and support me.
* I realized that what I shared was meaningful, but it also reminded me of the importance of always doing what's right for both others and myself.
When Mariam, Mihsan and Razin shared their personal stories with me, I felt humbled. They are such young people with incredible potential and kind souls. Getting to know them so deeply was truly eye-opening. What made me especially happy was that they trusted me enough to share with me.
* Their words were touching. It felt like I had given them something valuable to remember, and for that, I felt grateful and humbled.
It made me appreciate the good within myself more. It was a moment of pride and happiness, but also a reminder to cherish the positive aspects of who I am.

Rituu, I think it has strengthened my bond with my colleagues and has shown me the importance of open communication and also trust. It has also inspired me to be more courageous in sharing my thoughts and to always strive to do what's right. I'm grateful for the connection we've built and look forward to supporting each other even more in the future.
Thanks Adila! What has this meant going forward?
Thanks a lot for sharing, Adila. I hope you will use it whenever you feel alone or heavy, and inspire those around you.
