"When you come back....." more a statement than a question was the remark of Nadia to the After Experience Reflection question with Persons on Methadone Therapy. You would gather that they had agree that we come back for more SALT action. (^_^). So when the question was finally asked "do we come again?" there was a resounding yes. Her statement was related to the thought of what other exercises will we do the next time. She continued.."What I like is the "pulling of the paper" that made a difference for me." All of the reflection was done in kreol so it was after the one hour that I learned what was said during the reflection. Some other reflections included:
"The first time I was asked ..."what makes us human?" All twenty persons answered.....
"I am happy with how we worked together, there was no distinction between staff and beneficiary.."
" I am happy....since Autry came, he brings change..."
In the hour we spent with this community we did three exercises with the intention of stimulating local response around expressing concerns, hopes and eventually dream and how can they address common concerns and hopes towards their dream.
"Are we human and why?" Paper Pull and Hopes and Concerns were completed in the one hour. We look forward to more SALT stimulation next week Friday.
What should we do? It will be one hour.
Tearing the paper apart
Putting the pieces together
The fixed pieces
Laura's reflection on this exercise: "When communities are broken, it will difficult to come back together perfectly but with cooperation and working together we can achieve..."

Fantastic to see this exercise travelling from Uganda, via Indonesia and Facebook to Mauritius! Thanks for sharing Autry
Back in Belgium, still full of the energy of that meeting....
How beautifully you have depicted the exercise Autry! Kudos to you! The concluding quote brings it all together. Thank you.
