Connecting local responses around the world
Last month I had an opportunity to attend the 10th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP10) in Busan, Korea, where several of our ACP/CLCP coaches and facilitators from different countries also attended. Together we set up the Constellation booth to show off posters from several Competence teams in Asia and distributed brochures and hand-outs. I am attaching my summary report of my participation in the event including lessons learned turned into suggestions for future participation and preparations. I am also attaching my 3 hand-outs here. You can click to see individual documents that you are interested in reading more and seeing some photos.
My BIG THANK-YOUs to Oxfam/Novib who kindly supported my participation, the ADB who kindly gave the booth to us, all the friends in several countries who contributed to making/sending the posters and brochures, and all the coaches, facilitators, and friends who helped to promote the ACP/CLCP in the ICAAP10. You all helped make it a rewarding experience for me :-)
Please note that the next ICAAP will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2013. Their web site is http://www.icaap11.org. Now you have 2 years to start planning, my friends!!
