Merci Nathalie pour ce blog. Que comprend la formation psychohumaine?
Translation:
When preparing for the SALT visit of the young people of RUTEGAMA and GIHETA, we did not know the young people that we were going to support.
With the psycho-human training they followed for 3 days, some of these young people said that they cannot do anything without some financial help, that they already have projects, but it was a way of refusing.
But with the beginning of the SALT training, we were able to discuss several themes with these young people like getting to know themselves, identify talents, formulate of the dreams, draw their respective commune.... Through this, young people built self-confidence.
After the trainings, we often receive messages from these young people. They show us their project and ask a lot to learn.
Some benefited from trainings (in agriculture-livestock and Income-Generating Activities, IGA) and others will follow an entrepreneurship training.
"I did not know the how and why of saving, but I learned it with the IGA training," says one of the young people who took the IGA training.
I did not know that we could help a community to move forward without some financial help, but mobilizing funds to give trainings and learning visits are more effective to develop their talent, their dreams and to raise their level of self-confidence.
That's what I learned from the SALT visit.
