I am Shanti Rambari Bangladesh from Arshirbad Organization. Our Organization works with the backward, marginalized, Dalit and untouchable Harijan communities of the society. Our organization is a Community Based Organization (CBO). GFC selected 6 organizations to work on SALT (support, appreciation, listening-learning) and CLCP (Community Life Skills Process) approaches in ARC initiative in Bangladesh. My organization was among the 6 organizations. When I first went to Dhaka for training, there was a lot of fear in my mind. Many questions and thoughts were working in my mind. Then when it was the first day of training, I got even more scared when I saw everyone. Everyone was very smart, intelligent and their Organization was very big. I was thinking who I would sit next to. I would get some courage. Then I sat next to ECDO Lakshmikanta Singh  Dada. I got acquainted. After a while, Nawaz Bhai and Ritu created such an environment that I didn't feel like any of us were taking training. Everyone was equal, everyone was our own.  A little later, I sat next to Sadia Apu and Mariam of Grow Your Raider and listened to Mariam telling each other's proud things. I didn't realize when we all became so close. After lunch, I had a conversation with DHARA Lipika Didi on a spiritual level. She had a wonderful discussion about the Creator and creation. The session started again, we were creating our Cohort's dream. Everyone was giving their opinions. I was then observing whether anything was being written about us. Kabbo from Alokito Kori was saying to do something for the marginalized community. I immediately said okay. Actually, we were creating a Cohort's dream project without Realizing it. At the end of the training, I was wondering when our training would start. Now when I think about it, I get both laughter and shame. What do we usually see? When we go to training, the trainer gives one-sided training. Sometimes there is a discussion in the group. The trainer plays the main role. Here, the context is completely different. Here, we are all.  Only Nawaz bhai and Ritu were guiding us through their excellent facilitation. Now that I have come to work, I understand that we have learned these things in Dhaka. We have done these things in our Cohort which we are currently doing in the community. I still cannot forget the conversation with Tojamal bhai of BRED while having tea and breakfast in the afternoon. I could not understand how the two days passed. Everyone went back to their respective organizations. After these two days of training together, we got to know each other, and the relationships we formed, is this the end of it? Well, in Cohot, everyone has a different area, different project design and work. None of them will fund anyone. So what is the benefit of creating relationships in Cohot? Many people may think so. This is normal. However, I will say, from my experience. Some of the benefits or advantages of doing SALT Conversation in Cohot are,

1. A beautiful and cordial relationship is created during SALT Conversation in Cohot, soul to soul.

2. A place of trust and credibility is created.

3.  The scope of knowledge and knowledge increases.

4. There is no competition here.

5. Various types of advice and cooperation are available.

6. Discrimination is reduced or eliminated. No one cares about who is a big Organisation or a small Organisation.

7. Everyone sees the same dream.

8. There is no competition here.

In a word, Cohot becomes a family. That is why it is necessary to have SALT conversations with everyone in Cohot. I can't believe it. I am giving some examples of Bangladesh Cohot, such as, there is no competition between us. We consider each other as our strength. I work with the Dalit community. No one in Cohot  discriminates against me or anyone in my organization. We are saddened by the suffering of one person. When Lipika Didi of DHARA organization was grieving the loss of her daughter, everyone suffered for her. Sadia Apu spent a lot of time having conversations with her to Normalize her. We know about the strength of each of us. We have an online group, Moner Kotha.  As a social development worker, if you want to change the community, then you have to start with SALT conversations in your cohort. Our Bangladesh cohort is doing SALT conversations with many of the India Priarobondhon cohorts. In the future, relationships will be created with everyone in Nepal, Thailand, Africa, America. I believe that one day a beautiful bridge-bonding relationship will be created between the cohorts of every country in the world. Through which God's love will be revealed.

আমি শান্তি রামবারি, বাংলাদেশ Arshirbad অর্গানাইজেশন থেকে। আমাদের সংস্থা কাজ করে সমাজের পিছিয়ে পড়া , প্রান্তিক দলিত ও অস্পৃশ্য হরিজন জনগোষ্ঠীর সাথে। আমাদের সংস্থা কমিউনিটি বেইজড অর্গানাইজেশন।          ( CBO). GFC বাংলাদেশে ARC initiative এ SALT ( support, appreciation, listening-learning) and CLCP( Community Life Skills Process), এপ্রোচ কাজ করার জন্য ৬টি সংস্থাকে সিলেক্ট করে। ৬টি সংস্থার মধ্যে আমার সংস্থা ও ছিলো। যখন আমি প্রথমবার ঢাকা প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য যাই, তখন আমার মনের ভিতর অনেক ভয় কাজ করছিলো। আমার মনে অনেক প্রশ্ন ও চিন্তা কাজ করছিলো। তারপর যখন প্রশিক্ষণের প্রথম দিন ছিলো তখন সবাইকে দেখে আমি আরো ভীত হয়ে গেলাম। সবাই অনেক স্মার্ট, বুদ্ধিমান এবং তাদের সংস্থা অনেক বড় । আমি ভাবছিলাম আমি কার পাশে বসবো। একটু সাহস পাবো। তখন আমি ECDO লক্ষিকান্ত দাদা পাশে বসলাম। পরিচিত হলাম। কিছুক্ষণ পর ন‌ওয়াজ ভাই ও রিতু এমন একটি পরিবেশ তৈরি করলো যে মনেই হলোনা আমরা কেউ প্রশিক্ষণ নিচ্ছি। সবাই সমান, সবাই আপন। একটু পরে আমি Grow Your Raider এর সাদিয়া আপু আর মারিয়াম এর পাশে বসে একে অপরের গর্বের বিষয় মারিয়াম কে বলছি আর শুনছি । কখন জানি সবাই এত আপন হয়ে গেলাম বুঝতেই পারলাম না। দুপুরে খাবার পর DHARA লিপিকা দিদি সাথে কথোপকথন হলো আধ্যাত্মিক লেভেলে। তিনি স্রষ্টা ও সৃষ্টি সম্পর্কে চমৎকার আলোচনা করেছিলেন। আবার শুরু হলো সেশন , আমরা আমাদের কোহটের ড্রীম তৈরি করছিলাম। সবাই মতামত দিচ্ছে। আমি তখন লক্ষ্য করছিলাম আমাদের নিয়ে কিছু লেখা হচ্ছে কিনা। Alokito Kori থেকে কাব্য বলছিলো মার্জিনালাইজড্ কমিউনিটি জন্য কিছু করা। আমি সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বললাম ঠিক আছে। আসলে আমরা তখন না বুঝে কোহটে ড্রীম নাএকটা প্রজেক্ট বানাচ্ছিলাম। প্রশিক্ষণ শেষ পর্যায়ে আমি ভাবছিলাম কখন আমাদের প্রশিক্ষণ শুরু হবে। এখন মনে হলে হাসি আর লজ্জা দুটোই পায়। সাধারণত আমরা কি দেখি? প্রশিক্ষণে গেলে প্রশিক্ষক একতরফা প্রশিক্ষণ দেন। মাঝে মাঝে গ্রুপে আলোচনা হয়। মূল ভূমিকায় থাকে প্রশিক্ষক। এখানে প্রেক্ষাপট সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন। এখানে আমরাই সব। শুধুমাত্র ন‌ওয়াজ ভাই আর রিতু তাদের চমৎকার ফেসিলেটশনের মাধ্যমে আমাদের ট্রেকে তুলে দিচ্ছিলেন। বর্তমানে কাজ করতে এসে বুঝতে পারছি, আমরাতো এগুলো ঢাকায় শিখে এসেছি। আমরাতো আমাদের কোহটে এগুলো করেছি যা বর্তমানে আমরা কমিউনিটিতে করছি। বিকেলে চা নাস্তা খাওয়ার সময় BRED এর তোজ্জামল ভাইয়ের সাথে কথোপকথন আমি আজও ভুলতে পারিনি। দুটো দিন কিভাবে কেটে গেলো বুঝতেই পারিনি। সবাই ফিরে গেলাম যার যার সংস্থায়। এই যে দুইদিন একসাথে প্রশিক্ষণ নিলাম, পরিচিতি হলাম, সম্পর্ক তৈরি হলো এটা কি এখানেই শেষ। আচ্ছা বলেন তো কোহটে সবার আলাদা এরিয়া, আলাদা প্রজেক্ট এর ডিজাইন ও কাজ। এরা কেউ কাউকে ফান্ড দিবে না। তাহলে কোহটে সম্পর্ক তৈরি করে লাভ কি? অনেকে এমন চিন্তা করতেই পারেন। এটাই স্বাভাবিক। তবে আমি বলবো , আমার অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে। কোহটে SALT কনভারশেশন করে কি কি লাভ হয় বা সুবিধা হয় তার অন্যতম কিছু পয়েন্ট হচ্ছে,

১. কোহটে SALT কনভারসেশন হলে একটা সুন্দর ও সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক তৈরি হয়,আত্মা টু আত্মা।

২. ভরসার ও বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতার জায়গা তৈরি হয়।

৩. জানা শুনা ও জ্ঞানের পরিধি বৃদ্ধি পায়।

৪. এখানে কোন প্রকার প্রতিযোগিতা থাকেনা।

৫. বিভিন্ন ধরনের পরামর্শ ও সহযোগিতা পাওয়া যায়।

৬. বৈষম্য কমে যায় বা শেষ হয়ে যায়। কে বড় সংস্থা,কে ছোট সংস্থা, এগুলো নিয়ে কেউ চিন্তাই করে না।

৭. সকলে এক ড্রীম দেখে।

৮. এখানে কোন প্রকার প্রতিযোগিতা থাকেনা।

এক কথায় কোহট একটি পরিবার হয়ে যায়। এ জন্য‌ই কোহটে সকলের সাথে SALT কনভারসেশন করা প্রয়োজন। বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না তো । বাংলাদেশ কোহটের কিছু উদাহরণ দিচ্ছি যেমন , আমাদের মধ্যে কোন প্রকার প্রতিযোগিতা নেই। আমরা একে অপরকে নিজেদের শক্তি মনে করি। আমি দলিত কমিউনিটি নিয়ে কাজ করি । আমার সাথে এবং আমার সংস্থার কারো সাথে কোহটের কেউ বৈষম্য করেনা। আমরা একজনের কষ্টে অন্যজন মর্মাহত হ‌ই। DHARA সংস্থা লিপিকা দিদি যখন তার মেয়েকে হারিয়ে শোকাহত, তখন সবাই তার জন্য কষ্ট পেয়েছেন। সাদিয়া আপু অনেক সময় নিয়ে তার সাথে কনভারসেশন করেছে তাকে স্বাভাবিক করে তুলতে। আমরা আমাদের প্রত্যেকের শক্তি সম্পর্কে জানি। আমাদের একটি অনলাইন গ্রুপ আছে মনের কথা । একজন সমাজ উন্নয়ন কর্মী হিসেবে আপনি যদি কমিউনিটি পরিবর্তন করতে চান তাহলে শুরুটা করতে হবে আপনার কোহট এ SALT কনভারসেশন এর মাধ্যমে। আমাদের বাংলাদেশ কোহট ইন্ডিয়া পিয়ারোবন্ধন কোহট এর অনেকর সাথে SALT কনভারসেশন করছে। আগামী তে নেপাল, থাইল্যান্ডে, আফ্রিকা, আমেরিকা সবার সাথে সম্পর্ক তৈরি হবে। আমি বিশ্বাস করি একদিন পৃথিবীর প্রতিটি দেশের কোহটের মধ্যে একটি সুন্দর সেতু বন্ধন সম্পর্ক তৈরি হবে। যার মাধ্যমে ঈশ্বরের ভালোবাসা প্রকাশিত হবে।
