Last night a flower bloomed infront of the Hotel

During the first evening of Indonesia Knowledge Fair we all went to SALT visit in small groups. This was not organized as we decided to practice the SALT with the people we would meet. We are now clear in our minds that SALT is not a visit but a way of life

SALT is appreciating our lives:
“I found a new way to know my child” - Exkuwin, Jakarta

“For the first time I asked my baby sitter about her life” - Wiwin, Bandung

Taxi Ride@Yogyakarta:
“Taxi drivers have spirit, have dreams for life. I never took a taxi ride for SALT visit until last evening. SALT is a way of
thinking” –Ibu Nung, Manonjaya

SALT with My Long Time Friends: “ We are friends for years but till last evening I never knew my friends better that I know now, we shared our dreams and it bring us closer”- Denty, Yogyakarta

Sharing Information on Sexual Identity with Friends: “My friend had prejudice for Gay people, I shared information what I have on gay people and my friend knows now –gay’s are human being too” - Ira, Palembang

SALT is not a visit, so much way of life: “ Last night I thought you would forget about the SALT visits. I was wrong. I underestimated your strengths. Before making judgments I should ask myself : Are you sure?”
- -Jean Louis, Belgium

wow, wonderful and so true. Thank you for compiling and sharing Rebeka. I asked my father a couple of months ago about his dream. He is now 62 years old. His dream was beautiful and completely different from what I expected. One of our closest discussions followed. It's not just about asking the question. Then SALT starts....I had to do a conscious effort to appreciate, listen and learn. Then the full potential came out of the conversation and put my father to further action.

Great going Rebeka. I am very happy that the ACP events are going so well. I loved the presentation. Each slide has a story to tell. I especially liked 'SALT with My Long Time Friends'. Now am geared up for a SALT session with my best friend. Thanks.
