KENYA TEAM KNOWLEDGE FAIR

TheKenyan team held their knowledge fair in Mombasa bringing together the networks of PLWHIV AND the long distance truck drivers to share their experiences. They came from all our resource centres in Kenya which are situated along the Northern highway corridor on the hot spots and truck stops. The knowledge room moderators from each centre shared their experiences and challenges they face when applying SALT to the truckers and the community along the transport corridor.This was held for four days 25th January - 28th January  2011 and it was a great learning event and everybody went back with something new to take to the people they interact

A participant asked ;You are talking about SALT visit to the community , do we buy salt and take it to the community;

And the SALT approach was explained to the person and he was very much impressed because of learning something new.
